Tom Woods and Dave Smith on Why Voting Trump in Will Keep America American

MARTIN ARMSTRONG: one of the most impressive traits Trump displayed to me was empathy. When I went to visit Mar-a-Lago in 2020, Trump said he was tired of calling mothers to tell them that their sons died fighting in the Middle East. It was the first time I heard a politician actually discuss the citizens on the battlefield who are sent off to die in these neocon war games.

WHY would Putin ever agree to any agreement with Ukraine when they NEVER comply with what they agree to.
Another stipulation is that Ukraine may never join NATO. Russia has repeatedly stated that it is not battling Ukraine but the NATO alliance that has them cornered. NATO has become the aggressor in this conflict that has grown to such proportions that admitting Ukraine would instantly lead to World War III under Article V that demands all NATO members attack in unison.
--Martin Armstrong

Donald Trump has long stated that he would end the war in Ukraine if elected president. Confident in his ability to do so, the former president has stated he could end the conflict in 24 hours and has guaranteed to do so before he actually enters the White House. He finally revealed how he intends to accomplish such a feat.

It begins by revisiting the failed Minsk Agreement – the entire premise of the current war.  François Hollande and Angela Merkel representing France and Germany at the time brokered the agreement between Russia and Ukraine. The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) monitored negotiations and both sides agreed to an immediate ceasefire. Russia withdrew troops from Ukraine for one primary reason — the Donetsk and Luhansk regions were to be occupied territories that would have the autonomy to vote in their own elections.

These regions were never Ukrainian territory. It was occupied by Russians for centuries. The people there had a right to their own lives. The Ukrainians demanded they no longer speak Russian and they sought to deny them even their own religion and they were to report to Kyiv instead of Moscow. This was like Mexico reclaiming Texas and demanding English was to be outlawed only Spanish was to be spoken and all religions were to be outlawed except allegiance to the Archbishop of Mexico.

The ethnic Russians in the Donbas did not want to submit to a central government from Kyiv itself. The Obama Administration really opposed this sort of settlement on the grounds of old-world empire theory predicated on the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Such policies have led to the death of hundreds of millions of people over the centuries.

Europe brokered the Minsk Agreement as a ploy to buy time. Angela Merkel admitted a few years ago that they negotiated in bad faith with Putin simply to allow Ukraine time to fortify itself, thereby buying time to build its army. She also said that at the time, NATO was weak and could not provide support to Kyiv to the extent they do currently. The Minsk Agreements were signed to pretend to resolve the Donbas conflict.

WHY would Putin ever agree to any agreement with Ukraine when they NEVER comply with what they agree to. It is now abundantly clear that the Minsk agreements were NEVER intended to be carried out by the current Kyiv government. They were simply used to buy time to build up their forces for war against Russia.

Trump’s former advisors have stated that America would have no role in enforcing any peace treaty agreements. This is not our war. “There are two things America will insist on. We will not have any men or women in the enforcement mechanism. We’re not paying for it. Europe is paying for it,” his former advisor added.

A strong leader like Donald Trump who does not align himself with the neocons could possibly persuade Putin, but who will persuade Zelensky? Zelensky’s Victory Plan includes the annihilation of Russia which is precisely what the neocons have been after. Who will convince the allies who have provided trillions in funding to Ukraine? Let’s also remember that the neocons are on both sides of the political spectrum and Trump would have trouble convincing his fellow Republicans to walk away from this war.

I’ve said it numerous times, but one of the most impressive traits Trump displayed to me was empathy. When I went to visit Mar-a-Lago in 2020, Trump said he was tired of calling mothers to tell them that their sons died fighting in the Middle East. It was the first time I heard a politician actually discuss the citizens on the battlefield who are sent off to die in these neocon war games. Trump said that there had been war in the Middle East for most of known modern history and America simply had no place there. Likewise, America has no place in Russia or Ukraine.

Socrates states that Trump could slow down the war cycle, but he cannot prevent the inevitable. It is true that Donald Trump could delay the onset of the growing global conflict BUT he cannot alter the cycle. Our computer shows that war could break out by 2027, and the financial implications will be fully felt by 2028.

Donald Trump just said he is going to cap credit card interest rates at 10%.

Can he do that?  I thought that credit cards were issued by private banks that set the rate against the Fed rate.

DR. JANE RUBY: So the guy who fought against the Covid bioweapon shots and made millions on the anti-Fauci book, just endorsed the guy who gave Fauci the presidential commendation, and (still) claims the mRNA poison shots are "the greatest achievement of mankind"

Attorney Todd Callender describes how Donald Trump allowed for the militarization of healthcare during COVID with executive orders 13295 and 13887.

Attorney Todd Callender describes how Donald Trump allowed for the militarization of healthcare during COVID with executive orders 13295 and 13887. EOs Trump signed literally moved "the public health apparatus under the Department of Defense..." Transcription of clip: "Understand that in 2019, there's a new pandemic, and, and he's the guy that actually calls the national emergency, and he's the guy that invokes the, the public health emergency. And, by virtue of that, he was able to bypass bypass a lot of, reluctance in our government to allow these kinds of powers. But he did, and he gave himself, a whole lot of powers in Executive Order 13887. And, this is where he actually moved, elements of the public health apparatus under the Department of Defense into the Defense Health Agency. "He was preparing by virtue of this executive order, knowingly or not. I don't know if he knew what he was doing or not. That he was preparing for the public health apparatus to become militarized. Okay. Next one. Here's the text of Executive Order 13295, and you will see that he creates a task force. It's a public health and national priority. he says it's a disruption to the military operations. And for that reason, all of this had to become a military response, and that's precisely what happened. And the DOD effectively took control of the public health response in the United States by virtue of this executive order. The mission was then complete for legal purposes. "You have a government body in the United States, which is homogeneous, meaning that it all powers rested effectively in, the executive branch of our government, starting with the president who then became subservient in power to the secretary of health and human services who was then in charge of all government responses, all the military responses, and use, by the way, of the military to effectuate this public health response. It was the US military that moved the vaccines around. It's the US military that actually made the vaccine. "They hired Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson to make these shots because they were part of the development, and they moved them around the globe with military equipment. So this is where I came up with the phrase it's militarized public health. it's it's medical martial law. That's precisely what happened. And it's by virtue of these legal wranglings. They took a long time to put into effect, though, this happened. And I'm just showing the way that it went from being something innocuous to being something very terrible very quickly."

ARMSTRONG: with the Democrats trying to pull [Trump's] Secret Service protection and denying RFK Jr Secret Service protection, one must face the reality that there is a very dark side to Washington that never sees the light.

Thank you to Martin Armstrong's "Trump Beware--This May Be Only the First," found at Armstrong Economics.

They tried to get Gorbachev to join NATO, which set off the coup against him in Russia, ending with Yelsin becoming Russia’s leader. When they tried to blackmail Yeltsin to stick in their puppet, Boris Berezovsky, that is when Yeltsin turned to Putin because the Communists were also trying to impeach him. Putin was neither an oligarch nor a communist. That is why Hillary blamed Putin for interfering in the 2016 election, for they had interfered in the Russian 2000 election.  --Martin Armstrong

The country is so polarized by this demonization of Trump that, beginning with Hillary calling half the country “deplorables,” what has set in motion is the decline and fall of our country. It was McCain who handed the fake dossier Hillary paid to have written against Trump all because the two of them were Neocons, and as I have reported before, I was asked to invest $10 billion into Hermitage Capital to take over Russia, which Edmond Safra and Bill Browder owned. This has always been these Neocons and their hatred of Russians. They have been waging endless wars with no victories, and more than 50% of the national debt is all because of them and their abuse of American power. We are still paying interest in the funding for every war, including World War II, because they NEVER pay anything off.

Donald Trump MUST be careful. I question how someone could be on that roof in shooting distance without the Secret Service’s awareness. Just because Trump has survived one assassination attempt, with the Democrats trying to pull his Secret Service protection and denying RFK Jr Secret Service protection, one must face the reality that there is a very dark side to Washington that never sees the light.

Most people are not aware, but there have been multiple attempts against other presidents also during periods that have often been disconcerting. The assassin was 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who Secret Service agents killed at the scene after the shooting. He had donated $15 to a progressive Democrat movement. The FBI identified him as a resident of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania – about 35 miles south of Butler, where Trump was holding his rally.

There were 2 tries against Abraham Lincoln with the second one succeeding.

There were also 2 attempts against William Howard Taft in 1909 and again in 1910.

There were also 2 attempts against Franklin Roosevelt.

There were 2 against Harry Truman as well as against Richard Nixon and George W. Bush.

Gerald Ford had 3 attempts on his life.

Even Jimmy Carter had 2 attempts.

The record for attempted assassinations is held by Obama, with 8 attempts on his life. Even Bill Clinton had 5 attempts. We must be aware that the Democrats have so polarized this election with hatred that we must be deeply concerned that if Trump is assassinated, this country will be torn apart.

Armstrong points out that political assassinations of leaders or presidents were a 19th-century idea, called "Propaganda of or by the Deed" that required physical violence to inspire revolution.
The very idea of assassinating leaders such as President Lincoln and President McKinley was part of an international trend that began during the 19th century and was based upon the theory that some dramatic deed was necessary to spark a revolution. It was called the "Propaganda of, or by, the deed,” and it advocated physical violence in a dramatic, provocative public act perpetrated against political enemies to inspire others to act in a popular mass rebellion or revolution. This was a political philosophy that was part of the radical thought process that was emerging with Marxism. Still, it was not precisely advocated by Marx, who was generally a revolutionary.

There have been four Presidents assassinated and three who were wounded, with two misses since 1865.

1865, Abraham Lincoln, April 14th

1881, James A. Garfield, July 2nd

1901, William McKinley, September 6th

1912, Theodore Roosevelt, October 14th (wounded)

1933, Franklin D. Roosevelt, February 15 (5 shots fired missed)

1963, John F. Kennedy, November 22nd

1975, Gerald Ford, September 5th, and 22nd (missed)

1981, Ronald Reagan, March 30 (wounded)

2005, George W. Bush, May 10 (hand grenade thrown but was dud).

To promote Donald Trump's campaign, Alex Jones told his audience that Trump had a "safe" vaccine made of "sugar water."

Alex KNEW that adjuvants like he's saying would be fine to take had caused autism and a wide range of problems. He had railed against them for decades as well as exposing the CDC's annual flu scare to vaccinate people. Alex KNEW there was NO secret, alternative vaccine being developed. --David Knight

So it's not just what Trump has said when pimping the vaccines, but it's also his  mouthpieces, like Alex Jones.  At first anyway, Trump's mouthpieces like Alex Jones were pimping vaccines and making every excuse for them, telling his audience that you can actually request watered down versions of the vaccine.  So just as Trump won't come out and do a politically savvy mea culpa, neither will Alex Jones.

Here's David Knight,

What's more pathetic—Ben Shapiro and others telling you to get an untested vaccine because "SCIENCE" or Alex Jones telling you to take it because "TRUMP"? Here's the context Michael. I worked for Alex and I didn't believe it at first when people contacted me and told me he was telling people Trump had a "safe" vaccine. Then he did it when I was sitting right next to him as the show was ending, music playing, last 30 seconds. I told people that for 3 years. No one believed me. Then someone sent me a shorter "sugar water" clip which I posted for the AJ/Trump lovers who can't believe their own eyes, ears. The longer clip is even MORE damning.

KNEW mRNA was unlike ANY other jab. It was NOT a "weakened" pathogen. He pretended COVID had been isolated and was GOF to sell prepper products. Alex KNEW that adjuvants like he's saying would be fine to take had caused autism and a wide range of problems. He had railed against them for decades as well as exposing the CDC's annual flu scare to vaccinate people. Alex KNEW there was NO secret, alternative vaccine being developed. This is similar to the lie he and Steve Pieczenik told to kick off "Stop the Steal". [Odd that any of the articles that cover "Stop the Steal" deny any election fraud. So there's that.] Two days after the election, he said there were "blockchain watermark ballots", they knew who had stolen the election and 20,000 National Guard were already arresting people. TWO DAYS AFTER THE ELECTION. I openly opposed him on air over these lies and grifts and he fired me. I'm fine with that. My show never ended.

MR. AMERICA FIRST, DONALD TRUMP: I think you should get automatically as part of your diploma, a green card to be able to stay in this country

Iceland has a Venezuelan migrant problem.  How did the Venezuelan migrants get across the ocean?  Well, of course, the Soros organizations will bring people across the oceans, no problem at all.  They've had an explosion of Venezuelans in Iceland, and they thought this is just wonderful, we're going to have diversity and all the rest of the stuff and then they see what is happening with all these young males that are being brought in.  What's the point?  What exactly is the point of bringing all these young Latin males from one culture and transplanting them into another, completely different Nordic culture?  What's the point of it?

Well, Iceland officials are pulling back their former support.  They say they've deported 180 migrants who had only recently arrived in Iceland.  The deportation bill was wildly popular even among the left Green Party, even the Greens were for this.  Among its internal Provisions they allowed Iceland to ignore the UN and its open border-styled immigration policy demands the legislation reportedly sets stricter conditions for residency, for family migration, and for other measures.  With the mood shifting against Venezuelans they've deported 180 recent Venezuelan migrants all at once.  No Iceland is very small compared to the United States in 2018 they had 14 Venezuelan immigrants within 4 years that had exploded to 1200 about 100 times it exploded and that was all coming from the UN.

Now they are in direct contradiction to a couple of UN Conventions that they had signed up for.  They had signed up for the UN Convention for Human Rights that doesn't allow them to deport anybody.  And the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.  That is the instrument to destroy parental rights, UN Convention in the Rights if the Child, every country has signed into that except the United States.  In the United States, it is not being done through treaty, it is being done through our courts, who have been destroying parental rights.  The good news is if there is a will to do something about it just like they're saying Iceland they realize what a problem this is.  They're saying, well I don't care if we're signed on to the UN Convention of Human Rights.  I don't care that we're signed on to the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child, and they just threw it out.  The only party that supports keeping the Venezuelans there, the only one, the Green Party, all the lefties except for the Pirate Party, and they opposed the bill.  But the other major Icelandic parties, including the Independence Party, the Progressive Party, the Left Greens, they all voted in favor of tightening the country's immigration policies, and they voted to kick them out.

Now, contrast that with Donald Trump, for example. Donald Trump was going to stop immigration.  He was going to build a border.  He did none of that.  As a matter of fact, we got caravans as soon as they realized that Donald Trump was all talk and no action.  He didn't deport anybody he allowed Obama's executive order saying they were going to defer action, saying that we were going to defer action of the law and . . . .  Here's an executive order saying that my department of justice is not going to enforce the law.  How does that pass muster with the courts?  How does that pass muster with anybody?  Instead, Trump pretended that he couldn't create an executive order that countermanded Obama's executive order.  "Well, I really would like to do what I promised but I have to ask the courts for permission," and so he did it in this long drawn-out thing.  And the courts said, "No, you can't overturn Obama's executive order."  That can't possibly be true, and we all know that.  But as Trump was talking to CEOs he made an amazing revelation that came out over the weekend.  The CEO appeals,

We need to recruit the best and brightest of the world every time we get somebody super intelligent from India or Europe any country, and three of the four here are immigrants, into our country the ones without the toys and we can get these great people into our country and that's a loss for our adversaries and our competitors and it's a gain for us.  But I've never heard you talk about this. Can you please promise us you will give us more ability to import the best and brightest around the world to America?

Trump answers,

I do promise, but I happen to agree, that's why I promise; otherwise, I wouldn't promise.  Let me just tell you that it's so sad that we lose people from Harvard, MIT, from the greatest schools, and the lesser schools that are phenomenal school also.  And what I wanted to do and I would have done this, but we had to solve the COVID problem because that dominated for a little while as you perhaps know.  But what I want to do and what I will do is if/when you graduate from a college, I think you should, I think you should get automatically as part of your diploma, a green card to be able to stay in this country.  If you graduate or get a doctorate degree from college you should be able to stay in this country.  And you know more stories than I do, but I know stories where people graduated from a top college or from a college and they desperately wanted to stay here, they had a plan for a company, a concept, and they can't.  They go back to India, go back to China.  They become multi-millionaires and employ thousands and thousands of people, and it could have been done here.  And a bigger example is you need a pool of people to work for your company.  You have great companies, and they have to be smart people.  Not everybody can be less than smart; you need brilliant people.

6:32. All these people who have immigrated here, like Elon Musk and Vivek "the snake" Wami Swami, yeah, we don't want Americans here.  We want to be able to bring in other people in cuz Americans are crap, right?  I don't know how we ever got a country like this.  What happened?  How did it get here? You know, Americans can't do anything; we need foreigners to come in and fix everything.  You understand, don't you, that Trump was lying to you the whole time?  You understand that he never had any intention of doing anything about open immigration, and he doesn't either.  The idea from him that people are coming here and they're getting scholarships getting free rides . . . .

SCOTT HORTON: Putting Israel first is treason to the United States of America

But does anyone other than MSNBC anchors really believe that if re-elected Trump is going to clean house at any of these agencies or departments.  We all know he's just going to put a warhawk friend, like Mike Pompeo, in charge and trust him again.  --Scott Horton

Scott Horton speech from LNC 2024

12:10  Trump says that we need to ban Muslim travel to America until we figure out what's going on.  Well, Ron Paul already explained it.  It was Bush, Sr., and Bill Clinton bombing Iraq from bases in Saudi for 10 years as part of the Israeli-inspired dual containment policy as well as their support for Israel's slaughter of the Palestinians and Lebanese that motivated bin Laden and the 9/11 hijackers.  Putting Israel first is treason to the United States of America.  Blaming radical Islam for terrorism is a ridiculous red herring, like blaming radical Catholicism for the IRA's war against the British in Northern Ireland.  Hilariously, Trump recently accused Benjamin Netanyahu's number one co-conspirator, Joe ACAden, of abandoning Israel for temporarily holding up delivery of 2,000-pound bombs they've been using to kill tens of thousands of women and children.  One GOP congressman filed articles of impeachment over it.  Impeachment over temporarily holding up an arms deal to a country we are not even allies with.  Who ever heard of such a crazy thing, right?  It's just another case of the Republicans acting exactly like the Democrats.  Read the room, guys.  The American people do not believe in the wars anymore.

14:03  In August 1982, President Ronald Reagan wrote in his diary about calling Israeli Menachem Begin regarding his bombing of civilians in Lebanon,
Met with the news that the Israelis delivered the most devastating bomb and artillery attack on West Beruit lasting 14 hours.  I call PM Begin immediately.  I was angry.  I told him it had to stop or our entire future relationship was in danger.  I used the word Holocaust deliberately and said the symbol of his war was becoming a picture of a 7-month-old baby with its arms blown off.  Twenty minutes later, he called me to tell me he ordered an end to the barrage and plead for our continued friendship.

President Biden apparently has far less courage when it comes to standing up for American interests than President Reagan.  Senator Biden actually advised Begin to be even more ruthless back then just as he's encouraging and abetting Netanyahu's merciless canned hunt in Gaza now.  And all Trump can do is to attack Biden for not being bloodthirsty enough.  What a disgrace!  Speaking of which, October 7th and its aftermath was the direct result of Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu's godson, Jared Kushner, and billionaire mega-donor, Sheldon Adelson's Middle East policy, the Netanyahu Doctrine, including the so-called Deal of the Century and the Abraham Accords were the pay-off to Hamas and the sellout to the Palestinian people that made last fall's attack inevitable.  Just 4 weeks before October 7, Netanyahu sent the head of Mousad to Qatar to pressure them to continue to send hundreds of millions of dollars to Hamas all for the purposes of dividing and conquering the Palestinians, a policy for which the Israeli outlet Ynet, during his time in office the Qataris got a waiver from Trump's Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnunchin, so they would not be sanctioned for backing a known terrorist group.

16:46  Just two weeks before the attack, Netanyahu gave a speech at the UN, bragging that he'd gotten away with permanently denying the Palestinians independence.  Then all Hell broke loose.  The policy they call "Buying Quiet" failed.  There's a very real risk that in his next term, President Trump will double down on his errors and help the Likud finish the job and cleanse all 5 million Palestinians in the occupied territories into the Negev Desert, Sinai Peninsula, or Jordan.  The dishonest, cynical blasphemer, John Hagee, and his flock of misled sheep will love it.  Future American victims of terrorism and the Geneva Conventions be damned!  I wouldn't be surprised if Trump tried making Netanyahu the Prime Minister of the U.S. Senate.  Jared Kushner is already talking about building beachfront condos in Gaza.  If Donald Trump wants the Libertarians, the Ron Paul people, he will have to throw all the hawks overboard, and that means NeoCons, Nationalists, Liberal Globalists, and Likud.  We are anti-imperialists.  We oppose foreign interventionism and the National Security State root and branch.  America First does not mean that we can do whatever we want, like George W. Bush.  It means defend America first.  It means bring the Empire home, now!  Our government has no right to remain the dominant power in Europe, Asia, or the Middle East.  Global Intervention threatens our interests rather than protecting them.  And the people of this country simply cannot afford to rule the world anyway.

19:00  Eight years ago, the CIA and FBI framed Donald Trump for treason with Russia.  None of Russiagate was true.  The Secret Police made it all up.  One, to try to prevent him from becoming the president.  Two, as an excuse to try to overthrow him using the 25th Amendment.  And three, finally after that didn't work, as the FBI told CNN "to reign him in so that he could not live up to his electoral mandate and forge a permanent peace with Russia.  Obviously, this worked beyond the war party's greatest hopes.  Instead of implementing Minsk 2, Trump continued Obama's policy of ignoring the peace deal and selling Ukraine weapons for 4 straight years before handing the government over to Biden who simply pressed the gas in the same direction the policy was still headed from when he had left the vice presidency 4 years before and leading to the current war.  Trump even tore up the intermediate nuclear forces and Open Skies Treaty and threatened to leave New Start, the last Russian treaty limiting overall stockpiles of nuclear weapons and ICBMs.  Just a few weeks ago, it was Trump's suggestion of a fake guaranteed loan for $60 billion worth of weapons for Ukraine at war with Russia that finally broke Congress's resistance and got the appropriation passed.  TV says that Trump's vendetta against his enemies in the permanent government threatens democracy since they figure the dishonorable perjurers at the FBI and Justice Department and bloody-handed regime changers at CIA somehow represent American self-government.  But does anyone other than MSNBC anchors really believe that if re-elected Trump is going to clean house at any of these agencies or departments.  We all know he's just going to put a Warhawk friend, like Mike Pompeo in charge and trust him again bet you dimes to dollars, dollars to dimes.

You know as Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, who inaugurated America's pivot to China in an article in Foreign Policy magazine in 2011.  That's what the TPP trade deal was all about--freezing China out.  Trump opposed it because he thought it wasn't protectionist enough.  Trump had just ratcheted Hillary's and Obama's policy up a couple of notches.  But notice that Biden has not backed off.  He's been more Trump than Trump in the Pacific, giving an explicit war guarantee to Taiwan and stationing more and more naval and air forces in the region.  And he's got all of Trump's tariffs and even increased them.  In the case of Russia and China, Trump's policy was just as bad, the same as Obama's and Biden's.  And if he takes office again next year, he'll be picking up right where he left off.  So what is the point of being separate from the American power elite when you're no different than the rest of them in practice anyway?

22:35. Now here are two things that Trump was good on Afghanistan and North Korea.  He signed a deal to end the Afghan war thank goodness after escalating it for three of his four years first and Trump unfortunately let John Bolton ruin his talks with North Korea which could have led to a real peace deal and massive reduction in the threat of war.  That could potentially be his most important achievement right out of the gate if he were to be re-elected.  As Annie Jacobsen's new book, Nuclear War: A Scenario, 2024, shows, a deal to finally make peace in North Korea is of the highest importance.  The Libertarian Party voted on our top 10 issues we demand former President Trump address here today.  Nowhere on the list are any of the dumb scandals the Democrats keep manufacturing.  Instead, there are important things.  For a few, Trump encouraged and refused to halt the Fauci lockdowns of 2020.  As he put it, "a cure far worse than the disease."  In doing so, he violated every American's rights and permanently destroyed millions of his constituents' small American businesses in favor of his deadly enemy Jeff Bezos' Amazon.com, which did not have to shut down at all.  Trump's CARES Act is one-half of the reason for the current inflation crisis.  He shattered every Obama spending record and always wants the FED to lower rates to fuel inflationary bubbles.  With his approval, the Justice Department indicted the heroic journalist Julian Assange of Wikileaks.org for espionage in direct contravention of the First Amendment leading to Assange's torturous detention in solitary confinement in a British dungeon while facing life in prison here in the United States.. Trump is currently demanding "full indemnification for All American police for crimes they commit against citizens."  It's like he's taking Thomas Jefferson's list of complaints against King George out of the Declaration of Independence and using it as his platform.  On Yemen, Trump continued Obama's policy of backing Saudi, UAE, and Al Qaeda, bombing the Shiite hooties for 4 years straight, killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people.  He made Raytheon check cashers happy doing so, as his trade director Pete Navarro boasted to the New York Times.  But he lost the war anyway.  Trump ordered troops out of Syria and then backed down three separate times in 2017, 2018, and 2020.  Not to mention for falling for two separate sarin hoaxes at Khan Shaykhun and Douma and bombing the Assad government over them.  Americans have been killed in Syria in the time since again as revenge for what the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians.  And regardless of the overwrought hyperbole of the Democrats, and their unfair persecution of the January 6th rioters, it was a serious loser move for Trump to try to continue to dispute the last election AFTER the Electoral College had already voted and asked people to show up there that day at all.  Trump put his own supporters in jail as much as Merrick Garland did.  What could Trump say to make us believe that he's learned the error of his ways, that he will prioritize peace and turn into the Ron Paul that we all know he's not?  Personally, I'll be voting libertarian in November.  But I might consider supporting a ticket including Rand Paul for vice president, though I'd really like to see the man be Secretary of State, a promise of that job before the election would just not be good enough for me compared to the naming of the senator for vice president at the Republican convention.  Like I say, then at least I'd consider it.  And by the way Mr. Trump, there is easily a full National Security cabinet worth of credentialed, American-first, non-interventions conservatives and Libertarians, who could run your defense department, intelligence agencies, and National Security Council.

TRUMP, 2020: If forcing American taxpayers to provide unlimited free healthcare to illegal aliens sounds fair to you, then stand with the radical left.

130 legislators in this chamber have endorsed legislation that would bankrupt our nation by providing free taxpayer funded health care to millions of illegal aliens, forcing taxpayers to subsidize free care for anyone in the world who unlawfully crosses our borders.  These proposals would raid the Medicare benefits of our seniors and that our seniors depend on, while acting as a powerful lure for illegal immigration.  That is what is happening in California and in other states.  Their systems are totally out of control, costing taxpayers vast and unaffordable amounts of money. If forcing American taxpayers to provide unlimited free healthcare to illegal aliens sounds fair to you, then stand with the radical left.  But if you believe that we should defend American patients and American seniors, then stand with me and pass legislation to prohibit free government healthcare for illegal aliens.

DONALD TRUMP CALLS FOR THE DEATH PENALTY FOR ANTISEMITIC ATTACKS

Well, that was fast.  Clint Russell's video was removed.  But X News Release has it up.

In 2019, Trump signed an executive order to combat antisemitism, making clear that Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits the federal funding of universities and other institutions that engage in discrimination applies to institutions that "traffic in antisemitic hate."

AG JAMES AT TRIAL: Mar-a-Lago is only valued at $18 million. AG JAMES AFTER TRIAL: Trump should pledge Mar-a-Lago to secure a $500,000,000 bond because it's worth at least twice that.

ROBERT BARNES: Yeah, instead of grabbing pussies, he's become one

Take Boeing.  Do you know who Boeing implicates?  The person he's right now considering for Vice President.  Scott is neck-deep in Boeing.  The whole South Carolina political hierarchy--Nikki Haley, Lindsay Graham, they're all neck-deep in Boeing.  And Tim Scott especially.  Tim Scott has written special legislation just for Boeing.  My guess is that's why Trump is keeping his mouth shut.  Trump right now seems scared.  Scared to say things about the FBI, about the CIA, about the NSA, about the US Agriculture Department, about the FDA, about the CDC, about any of these people.  It's glaring when the other day you see Robert Kennedy talking about it, and Trump not day after day after day after day.

"Trump could wind up seizing the state capitol, the governor’s residence, etc., plus having his property returned to him."

Thanks to Martin Armstrong's "NYC Bonds Are in Sell Mode."

COMMENT: Hi Martin,

Thanks for the “astute lawyer” compliment. That was very nice, and coming from you, it is very meaningful to me.

The Epoch Times headline in your “NYC Out of Control” post calls the dollar part of the verdict against the Trumps a “penalty.” It has also been called a “fine,” but I haven’t yet seen it called “damages” in a headline. I think Hochul, Engoron, and James know that the amount was based on a damage assessment and calculation that may not hold up.

New York Executive Law § 63(12) clearly reads that the attorney general “may apply . . . for an order . . . directing restitution and damages…”. [Emphasis mine.] New York proved math calculations, not actual damages, where the damaged party had to be made whole. Had the statute recited a list of fines, they’d probably be in a more sound position, but their position now is what I would call “too dicey for comfort.” I would seize nothing in this situation because there are too many cases of improper seizures to worry about. The verdicts against those who seize property in error or improperly or hastily in a flawed or tainted case are many times larger than the amount of the money judgment used to seize and sell the property of the defendant.

Furthermore, if New York has someone running the Trump businesses, and should he or she destroy or damage the businesses, the state could be liable for many, many times the amount of the verdict/judgment against the Trump family. Trump could wind up seizing the state capitol, the governor’s residence, etc., plus having his property returned to him. I’ve seen this happen. Once, the State of Louisiana overreached, and once, the U.S. government was a litigant against a billionaire oil man, banker, and friend who could not get the IRS to return his multi-million dollar overpayment of taxes. He finally had enough, and he seized the Hale Boggs Federal Court Building. He got his money a day later.

Perhaps by dancing around exactly what legal principle the amount of the money verdict/judgment is based on (i.e., damages, fines, penalties [i.e., a payment imposed as punishment], whatever), the Hochul, Engoron, James enterprise has walked into a trap. The Eighth Amendment prohibits excessive fines. If they maintain the amount is absolutely based on the principle of damages, how can they show a diminution of the state being “whole” (or “wholeness” if you will) owing to Trump’s actions with third parties. If they maintain the amount of the verdict/judgment is based on a properly enacted and published fine or penalty, then they must face the Eighth Amendment.

In my opinion, Hochul, Engoron, and James are whistling past the graveyard. They have put their careers on the line, and the dice are tumbling.

Best regards, and thanks again.
EGM

This is so political it smells, and just because this Judge, who is not qualified to judge a turtle race, simply decrees, they think they are God, and everyone must bow down to them and kiss their ring. It is so rare to find a decent judge in New York. Judge Lawrence McKenna saw what they were doing and tried to protect me. The government went to the Chief Judge to remove him and then sealed the record.

The DA belongs in prison with the governor and this disgusting judge. This DA is bragging that she will now seize Trump Tower. When the computer projected that the 2024 election would be intermixed with serious civil unrest and that neither side would ever accept the outcome, as we draw closer and closer to this date with destiny, it is looking very, very dark indeed.

The computer is projecting a panic cycle in September, rising volatility in October, and October will be a critical turning point heading into the 2024 election. We should no longer have the motto Gold Bless America. It should be changed to God Save America These LEFTIST are destroying the very foundation of law; without that, civilization can no longer exist. That is the testimony of history – not my opinion.

NEW YORK IS DOOMED

Bond investors have piled into New York City’s tax-exempt bonds, lured by their relatively high yields. However, with a $7 billion budget deficit spiraling costs of sheltering asylum seekers and other migrants that have sought refuge in New York on top of this collapse in the rule of law, NYC is a sell – not a buy. Wall Street profits are declining, and with them, there are looming job cuts at major investment banks. Many are migrating to Florida, which puts pressure on city tax revenue. New York’s fiscal outlook is a disaster. That suggests the city’s general obligation bonds aren’t particularly attractive at current valuations – they are a sell.

Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó: Peace has a name, and the improved U.S. Hungarian relations have a name as well. And this name is definitely President Donald Trump

As a candidate in 2016, Trump was good on vaccines. As president, not so much

Wakefield's points are alarming.

Starts out with Trump making a comment during the 2016 presidential debates "Autism has become an epidemic."  But that comment seems to be more of a predictive programming remark for the 2020 pandemic rather than a critique of the vaccines causing autism.

Andrew Buncombe was the US Editor of The Independent at the time of this interview where he asked Wakefield about his relationship with Trump.

00:18. Wakefield is given the abominable label of "Disgraced doctor," a horrific lie, as he explains.  "I met him once before the election when he was running for the presidency I had a meeting at Kissimmee in Florida (on 08/11/2016) and we were there, three of us, four of us, representing the issue of autism and its link to immunization, and he interjected and said, "You don't need to tell me that vaccines cause autism.  I've seen it.  I've seen it personally." [Then Trump on tape].

00:46. Trump: And we've had so many instances . . . people that work for me.  Just the other day, 2 years old, 2 1/2 years old, the child, a beautiful child, went to have the vaccine and came back a week later, got a tremendous fever, got very very sick, and now is autistic.

01:03. We went on to discuss the issue of the autism crisis in this country, which is set to affect one in two children by 2032, according to the CDC's own data.  If nothing is done, nothing changes, that's 80% of the boys in this country.  It's a national crisis, and that's what he wanted to discuss.  He said if he were to be elected, then he would do something about this.  My concern at this stage facing the prospect of one in two children in this country developing autism by 2032.  That is my major concern.

And what did President Donald Trump do to stem this trend?

3:22. To get to the book to the heart of it Donald Trump is not a conservative in any way shape or form economically.

WOODS.  If I were to pick Trump out and say he's no good on these issues the whole Republican party is bad on these issues and even if you bring out a Paul Ryan well the difference between Paul Ryan and Trump is Ryan wants to hire commission to look at into it and then they'll ignore it with the commission said I don't think Trump is alone in this

4:30.  I agree with you and unfortunately, the Republican Party in the last half-decade has drifted further and further away from the fundamentals of fiscal rectitude but partly because it has been "Trumpified."  Trump insisted stoutly while he was in office for 4 years that they were going to touch Social Security that was a half-hearted effort and didn't pan out and no political capital was really spent, but since then he's become even more militant on insisting that those huge entitlements, the whole transfer payment budget, is sacrosanct.  If he is renominated and the Republican Party is led by Trump again for the next 4 years, I think it's all over except for the shouting.

5:34. Any voices in the party that might want to face these fiscal facts have been totally smothered.  You remember when they passed a huge CARES Act sight unseen in March 2020 after the lockdowns were proposed, it was 2.2 trillion dollars.  No one even read 180 pages.  The one guy who opposed it was the congressman from Kentucky, Thomas Massie.  He got denounced and shouted down by Trump and Trump even demanded that he be purged from the Republican Party so that's what we're up against but I agree with you without Trump we still have a real battle in front of us but at least there's some hope the Republican Party can come back to its senses.

6:32. Let's dig into some statistics.  The problem is that the Republican base doesn't seem to have much interest in this you know they say they do but I don't think they do.  For example, the TEA Party was a brief flash in the pan, but even they were willing to make the kinds of cuts that would be necessary.  I highly doubt it. It's easy to go after work leftist or ANTIFA criminals or whatever because everybody understands how crazy that is but people like getting checks in the mail with their names on them and that's a very very hard addiction to break.

7:26. I agree with you and the worst episode of that was the so-called Stimi's in response to the lockdown in which everyone got a check except maybe the top 10% of households up to $150,000 we're getting those steamy checks of $1,200, $1,400, 500 for the kids.  After that first act during the summer and fall of 2020, if you were a family of 4 with two wage earners and got laid off, you got all the stimmy checks in child care credits; you were all so eligible for the unemployment topper on top of which was a $1,000 a week; on top of the state benefits, it could add up to $30k, $40k, even $50,000 a year of handouts from the government.  That happened on Trump's watch he signed it it was the worst excess of that thing that we've encountered yet and it's another reason why I think he's already prove he's not even remotely the right person for the job.

8:50. So what you're doing in this book in part is going through the Trump record and arguing that it was not all it was cracked up to be in terms of economic performance.  . . . Even though the President doesn't really have that much control over monetary policy, the president does nominate someone for Fed chair, and I would like for  the president to be sensible enough to choose a decent enough Fed Chair.  I mean I'd be very very happy if Jim Grant were chosen to be Fed Chairman because maybe something might happen.  But no president has actually been serious about making the dollar worth something again and keep an eye on rising prices and really crack down, I don't know of anybody.  So are we being unfair to Trump?

10:10. I don't think we are because these subsequent presidents you don't like Reagan was a pretty stout Defender of what the said needed to do and what Volker was doing to bring down that double digit inflation we've inherited and the other Republican politicians around him in the white house and on Capitol Hill we're constantly pushing you've got to tell Volker to take his foot off the neck on the economy Howard baker said that but he really didn't yield and after Volker one he should have been reappointed in 1987.  Stockman convinced Reagan that volcker wasn't reliable and Alan Greenspan would make a wonderful replacement.  The presidents since then, the Bushes, have been lukewarm tap it on the monetary issue they didn't demand that the FED open up the spigot and print money like there was no tomorrow but they didn't demand a solid money or sound money policy either the problem is when Trump got in he leaned way the other way he was constantly on the case going after interest rates which were about zero effectively when he got there and the belated efforts of the FED tried to get interest rates moving back into some semblance of rationality he constantly thwarted and opposed now this is important in 2017 after we were well after the Great Recession sort of conservative/ Keynesian Friedman Heights that had dominated the Republican Party always believed that when you got into the middle and back into the business cycle to sober up should be to be to get back to Market rates of Interest to get the budget balanced even a surplus Trump went the other way when they tried as you remember to begin raising interest rates and then they went into QT in 2018 and 2019 Trump was all over the case of the Fed and blaming them you know for even trying to get interest rates within the range of something meaningful in real terms after inflation so that's why I think the indictment is so strong it came at the wrong time and it was really the wrong message utterly wrong as I say in the book I think he was more irresponsible Reckless on monetary policy then William Jennings Bryant you can't have someone back in the Oval Office who is going to be on the feds case to ease money to lower interest rates to buy in which is what he would do predictably if he gets a second term.

13:54. I am going to ask you later on a couple of good things about Trump.  He speaks as if there is no downside to lowering interest rates and of course we all like lower interest rates so the only obstacle is a lack of political will or dummies on the Federal Reserve board?  There like there are no economic consequences there is no meaning to interest rates they can just be arbitrarily set wherever we like.  Like you know he wouldn't even pause to wonder you know like, "I wonder it means if it seems . . . .  There's absolutely no reason not to do this, but there must be some, you know, I wonder what it is."

15:00.  It's obvious that a market sets interest rates it's what allocates capital it's what allocates economic activity if we've known for decades and decades and decades the price system is fundamental to capitals prosperity and if you don't have you know at least reasonably honest quasi market prices in the financial system we're going to end up with a mess we have today huge financial bubbles we're going to be sending the wrong message to Capitol Hill in other words the FED debt doesn't matter because the carry cost on the debt actually when the when the FED finally have the interest rates down to Rock Bottom average 1.6% well the politicians are going to worry about the cost of financing the debt and the carry cost of the debt if you drive the weighted average cost of the $34 trillion federal debt that's the problem is you know if you want to turn Wall Street into a speculative casino and if you want to turn Washington into a runaway spending machine, then artificially depressed interest rates to non-economic levels and I have a chart in the book which I think is worth bringing up if you take the period between the spring of 2008 right before the Great Recession and a year ago March 2022 when the FED finally reversed direction the real interest rate if you subtract the funds rate you subtract the year over year inflation from federal funds rate was negative 95.5% of the time in terms of months elapsed of the 183 months was negative over 170 months now that's crazy for that long of a period of time you were sending a signal to both Wall Street to speculate in the carry trades to your heart's content you were sending a message to the other end of the cell you can talk about the physical problem down the road but don't worry about it today or tomorrow or next year even because the carry cost is is rounding here
