ANTIDOTES for ANTHRAX POISONING
from Bill Sardi.

ARTHRITIS
Niacin, B-3.
At his urging, she agreed to take 1 gram of niacin three times daily after meals. About one month later, she wrote that she was very much better, could see again, that the arthritis was leaving her hands and “those little bumps on her finger joints (Heberden’s nodes) were going away”. Hoffer was delighted but “knew” that none of this could be true as Heberden’s nodes never went away, and that there was no treatment for old age and its associated changes. But when she was seen again she was very much better. Her mind was clear and the arthritic nodes were flattening out and not as prominent. She remained on high dose niacin until she died in 1975 at age 88.
NIACIN FLUSH
Just so you know
Each time the niacin is taken the flush is repeated, but to a much lesser degree and in most cases after a week or so it is almost all gone or is a minor nuisance at worst. However, some people do not tolerate the flush and they will have to discontinue the niacin. If the niacin routine is interrupted for several days and then resumed the same sequence of flushing will occur, but the initial flush will usually not be as strong as the original one was. The intensity of the flush is minimized by taking the pills after meals and by taking them regularly three times daily. I have been taking it for fifty years and at the maximum have very minor flushes. It is a dry flush, not like the wet menopausal flush, or the flush suffered by male hormone blockers used in treating prostate cancer.
When rats with ischemic stroke were given niacin, their brains grew new blood vessels, according to researchers at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

THE BRAIN

EVERYDAY BRAIN MAINTENANCE: TAKE VITAMINS C & D
Vitamin C.  Why vitamin C?  Because it strengthens veins and capillaries.  You want blood flow to keep your loved one(s) alive and functioning.
Vitamin D, too, for there are lots of different vitamin D receptors on the brain.  Feeding your brain adequate vitamin D is vital for that organ.

BRAIN INJURIES OF ANY KIND, TAKE FISH OILS FOR THE DHA & VITAMIN D, and VITAMIN C
Bill Sardi points out that it is the DHA from fish oils that produces a "significant reduction in brain injury."  That is important to know.  His link to Science Daily explains,
The researchers treated 10-day-old mice that had incurred hypoxic-ischemic brain injury (caused by a decrease in blood flow and oxygen to the brain, as occurs during a stroke) with a fat emulsion containing either DHA or EPA -- omega-3 fatty acids that are found in certain foods and in supplements. The researchers evaluated the mice's neurological function 24 hours and 8 to 9 weeks after the brain injury.
EPA and DHA are bioactive omega-3 fatty acids that are found in oils extracted from cold-water fish. The CUMC researchers and other scientists have shown that these fish-oil fatty acids protect organs and cells in numerous ways after oxygen deprivation, reducing inflammation and cell death.
At 24 hours, mice treated with DHA, but not EPA, had a significant reduction in brain injury. In the following weeks, the DHA group also had significantly better results in multiple brain functions compared to the EPA-treated mice and untreated (control) mice.
As a caregiver, you'll need some consolation, something that gives you intelligent, strategic options to achieve the best results with your loved one.  I found this article by a woman who was injured particularly valuable.  It's worth a few minutes of your time to read it.  She offers a handful of valuable resources as well.

TRY THE BRAIN LIGHT PRO TO INCREASE BLOOD FLOW TO THE BRAIN.

I have not tried this, so I cannot speak to its efficacy.  But it comes highly recommended by Martie Whittekin

MAGNESIUM is extremely important for brain repair.  Here's why.  NCBI reports that
Magnesium, which is transported to the brain by an active mechanism, plays an important role in brain functioning. Under normal conditions, magnesium inhibits the actions of the excitatory neurotransmitter glutamate. More specifically, magnesium blocks the calcium channel of the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) glutamate receptor, and thereby regulates calcium entry into the postsynaptic neuron. Magnesium also relaxes vascular smooth muscle, resulting in vasodilation and increased cerebral blood flow.
. . . magnesium plays an important role in the homeostatic regulation of the pathways involved in the secondary phase of brain injury (Sen and Gulati, 2010). Following traumatic brain injury (TBI), reduction in magnesium levels in the brain is associated with an influx of glutamate and calcium into the postsynaptic neuron. The entry of these compounds into the brain is considered to be the predominant contributor to neuronal degeneration and cell death, secondary to the original insult
The preferred magnesium for the brain is magnesium taurate.  If you can't find taurate, then get magnesium citrate.  Avoid magnesium oxide: it provides no benefit.

BRAIN INFLAMMATION
Hormones Matter spells it out.  Take vitamin B6.
Well, we’ve actually known this since the 1970s (perhaps earlier) when work on the kynurenine pathway began. Somehow though, it wasn’t recognized again until the 1990’s and has only recently become prominent over the last decade as connections between environmental and pharmaceutical toxicants and gut microbiota and mitochondrial damage are revealed.
Several studies have emerged over the last decade showing the importance of vitamin B6 (and other B vitamins) in systemic and brain inflammationDefects in vitamin B6 metabolism are linked to seizure disorders resistant to traditional anticonvulsants but remediable with Vitamin B6.  Vitamin B6 reduces brain atrophy in Alzheimer’s patients. Low vitamin B6 is believed to play a key role in the oxidative stress associated with Huntington’s disease. One of the more interesting studies involves preventing the hippocampal apoptosis associated with bacterial meningitis using vitamin B6.

Progesterone is another valuable compound.  Hormone Matters has you covered
Progesterone can dramatically reduce brain swelling in males and females, can act as an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant, and can stimulate expression of growth factors in response to injury.
BRAIN SHRINKAGE
B-12 maintains brain volume
Benfotiamine rebuilds inactive areas of the brain.

BRAIN INJURY
from NCBI
Vitamin B12 has been reported to promote axon growth of neuronal cells after peripheral nerve injury, which is currently used for the treatment of peripheral nerve damage in the clinical trial. Thus, we hypothesized that TBI can be attenuated by vitaminB12treatment through its beneficial role on axon regeneration after nerve injury.

from Dr. Robert Silverman . . .

Studies have recently shown that administering glutathione after a concussion reduces brain tissue damage by an average of 70 percent. In a clinical setting, glutathione can be given intravenously. Oral supplements of glutathione are destroyed by stomach acid, however. For home treatment, the best approach is to nutritionally support the body’s natural pathway for producing glutathione by providing plenty of the building blocks: vitamin C, selenium, niacinamide (vitamin B3), N-acetyl-L-cysteine (750 to 1,000 mg) and broccoli extract.

Protein: After a head injury, the body needs extra protein right away for healing and rebuilding damaged tissues. Starting within a day of the injury, I recommend consuming extra protein each day at the rate of about a gram per kilogram of body weight. High-protein foods such as steak and eggs are good choices . . .
Creatineis crucial for energy production within the cells. It helps give the brain an intense and immediate hit of energy, which it needs to help the cells start to heal.
CHELATION THERAPY
Excess iron?  Take IP6

STROKE: DHA, RESVERATROL, METHYL FOLATE, B-12

Methyl Folate, the preferred form of folic acid, reduces strokes:
News reports claim a massive 73% decline in strokes and stroke-related death among the highest risk patients and a 21% decline in stroke overall with folic acid supplementation.
Resveratrol heals function following a stroke.
Sardi told an interesting story about someone he knows who improved remarkably after [taking Resveratrol following] a stroke and said his memory was better than before the event.
And this from the Hindawi
Resveratrol (3,5,4-trihydroxy-trans-diphenyl-ethylene) is well-known as a natural antioxidant, effective in combating oxidative stress and related inflammation [20, 21]. Due to its antioxidant effect, this substance can neutralize free radicals in the human body, thus reducing the resultant cellular aging process [22–24]. Resveratrol possesses phenolic functions (Ar-OH) susceptible to block-connect hydroperoxide radicals resulting from lipid peroxidation [25].
Numerous studies have shown the effectiveness of resveratrol in improving health and preventing chronic diseases.

BRONCHITIS
Sulfur (NAC) for bronchitis. Bronchitis, usually caused by a viral infection, is a common reason to obtain care from a doctor. Bronchitis is experienced as a chronic cough or clearing of the throat, and it emanates from mucus accumulating in the windpipe or deeper in the lungs. Millions of Americans suffer with chronic every-day bronchitis or smoker’s cough.
N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), a sulfur molecule is an underused remedy for bronchitis. It is available at health food stores. NAC inhibits lung inflammation during bouts of the flu. For chronic cough, theobromine, an extract from cocoa bean, has also been shown to be effective.
CANCER TREATMENTS
1.  For cancer treatments, start here.
2.  In the video below, Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez recommends pancreatic enzymes to tackle cancer.
3.  Martie Whittekin compiled an excellent list of nutrients that you should consume daily to fight, stop, and prevent the initiation, growth, and spread of cancer.  She points to Alpha Lipoic Acid and its ability to retreat pancreatic cancer back to where it came from.  Might be worth a try.  Here is a decent deal from Swanson, 2 for $20.  I've never tried the NutriCost brand, but the price is decent.  And what's interesting to me is that I've never seen, heard Bill Sardi review the benefits of Alpha Lipoic Acid.  I could be wrong though.  More from Martie Whittekin.

The right should also be based on the right diagnosis.  If your cancer is the result of radiation poisoning, then there is a set of antioxidants that work well for that particular poisonous source.  Bill Sardi cites an NCBI study, "The antioxidant dietary supplement was L-Selenomethionine, sodium ascorbate, N-Acetyl Cysteine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Alpha-Tocopherol Succinate, and Co-Enzyme Q10."

WHAT CAUSES CANCER?
1.  A bad diet can cause cancer.  The purpose of a good diet is to keep your organs, their systems, and blood flowing and to keep inflammation under control.  On diet, see what Bill Sardi says,
Most chronic health problems are rooted in bad diets.  Better than 80% of the food choices in the grocery store are unhealthy (example: bacon, peanut butter and cereals are laced with high fructose corn syrup).  The diabesity epidemic encircled the globe via its inclusion as a sweetener in soda pop.  When the most often purchased vegetables are potatoes and tomatoes presented as French fries and catsup, America is in trouble health-wise.
2. A lack of vitamin D can also cancer.  Regular sun exposure is the best source of vitamin D; short of that, you should supplement with D to have adequate cancer prevention.  In terms of foods with the highest vitamin D content, wild-caught salmon is unmatched.
3.  Venereal Disease can also cause cancer. Sardi writes,
However, herpes viruses, which infect 80% of the world’s human population, are tra nsmitted from person to person via kissing or sexual contact and help cancer spread throughout the body.  Herpes viruses trick cells to grow new blood vessels (called angiogenesis), a process that occurs during wound healing, and in so doing, delivers nutrients to cancer cells.  [Daily Mail UK July 20, 2016]
A high number of lifetime sexual partners increases your risk of developing cancer.
4.  And no exercise.  Remember, the goal of healthy daily habits is to keep the organs and systems of your body moving.

DIABETES
Vitamin DZinc, and eat breakfast late and dinner early.
Choline seems to be the antidote for diabetes.  It treats a fatty liver, but apparently fatty liver is one of the signs of severe diabetes.
So does vitamin D.

DYSLEXIA
Zinc.

ECZEMA
from NCBI,
Evening primrose oil (EPO) and borage seed oil (BO) are two “natural” supplements that have been frequently touted as a treatment for eczema, and both are available over-the-counter. Both are high in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a substance which may play a role in eczema
Back in 2018, I wrote to Bill Sardi asking him for a recommendation on treating eczema.  He replied like this
Start with vitamin D 10,000 IU.
Zinc 30 mg.
Clean up gut bacteria by eating fermented foods like unsweetened pickles, miso soup, sauerkraut and supplement with apple pectin and/or beta glucan.
It's only recently that I've tried the apple pectin AND the beta-glucan.  The two together seem to have a good effect.  But I am still taking the Borage Oil with fish oils and flaxseed oil.

FIBROSIS
Turns out Hyaluronic Acid repairs this.  And you don't need injections of the stuff: just good ol' fashioned capsules taken orally.

GALL BLADDER & GALLSTONES
Check out Bill Sardi's remedy.  I know someone who has had their gall bladder removed and it's not good.  I told this person NOT to agree to the surgery but this person went ahead with it anyway.  Sardi even has your back on that situation.  He says if you've had your gall bladder removed, then you need to keep your bile thin by taking taurine and NAC.

GUMS
CoQ10 and vitamin C.

For TEETH, see this.  Magnesium is essential for strong teeth and gums.

HIATAL HERNIA
Read this and this
A Hiatus/Hiatal or diaphragmatic hernia exists when part of the stomach protrudes through the diaphragm muscle into the chest. When the hernia is in this position, stomach acid and food do not drain out of it quickly. Over time, this can result in tissue damage to the esophagus, lungs and mouth. When the stomach is not in its proper position it should be corrected. Most doctors know about hiatal hernias, however, consider consulting with a Chiropractic Physician trained in Applied Kinesiology, to find out if you’re a candidate for non-surgical correction. You may also consult with a Gastroenterologist (M.D.). Since hiatal hernia surgery may be risky and may not correct the situation, consider the following self-help ideas before surgery:

Drink 12-16 ounces of water within 5-10 minutes. Then carefully jump down from a one to two foot step. When you land on your feet, the weight of the water may help the stomach to move back into proper placement.
HYPERTENSION or HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
Bill Sardi writes, "Melatonin is the only agent that Dr. Houston has found to work to normalize blood pressure among patients whose blood pressure does not dip at night."

Elsewhere, Sardi points to zinc as the secondary ingredient to bring hypertension under control, "Zinc is the unexpected mineral that controls blood pressure as described in the medical literature but not heeded by practicing physicians."  Further on in that article, Sardi makes another interesting point that "In a zinc-deficient population, excessive salt-induces fluid overload that leads to release of renin from the kidneys, a hormone that increases blood pressure."

If you're looking for markers, Bill Sardi has that too.  "Age-adjusted data, reported by researchers at UCLA a few years back show any risk for death from uncontrolled hypertension doesn’t start till blood pressure is 160/90 or more among adults 55 years of age or older."  Normal blood pressure levels are 136/88.  Hypertension is absolutely something that needs monitoring.  For one, it can lead to strokes.  Scary stuff indeed.  "The latest review of the medical evidence shows adults with 130-139 systolic pressure doubled their risk for a stroke, heart attack, kidney or heart failure compared to those with lower blood pressure."  Pick your poison, or pick optimal nutrients to stay productive, look after the things important to you as well as the people important to you.  Martie Wittekin is in alignment with Sardi on the value of adequate zinc to protect your heart.

Arginine, too, is another important remedy.
Arginine has been marching towards greater acceptance for treatment of a variety of cardiovascular disorders in recent published studies. The Journal of Nutrition suggests human studies begin using arginine among adults with high blood pressure, since arginine is required to produce nitric oxide, a transient gas that dilates (widens) blood vessels and helps to control blood pressure. [Journal Nutrition 134: 2807-11S, 2004]

KIDNEYS  [posted on Wednesday, November 13, 2019]
Sardi's segment on this show regarding kidney health begins at the 8:04 mark.  It's good.  For overall kidney health, the answer is baking soda.  Yep.  He points out that IP6 dissolves kidney stones, so if you ever get those you'll know how to handle them.  And the other remedies Sardi recommends are Benfotiamine, which is fat-soluble B1, and lignans from flaxseed oil.  I actually wrote about the benefits of baking soda back in 2010.  As to kidney stones, Sardi also says that Hydroxycitrate gets rid of them.

MEASLES & VITAMIN A

from Whale.to, posted Monday, December 18, 2017.
"Knowing that measles often leads to vitamin A loss, we had begun to wonder if Africa's high death rates from measles might also be connected with vitamin A deficiency. To test this, children hospitalized with measles in Tanzania were given vitamin A capsules. The measles death rate fell by half. It was at this point that we discovered, to our astonishment, that a similar experiment had been conducted 50 years earlier in a London hospital - with the same results: medicine too has doors it did not enter, paths it did not take."--Dr. Alfred Sommer
"There is a "cure" for measles. It is called vitamin A... cod-liver oil. As early as 1932 doctors used cod-liver oil to reduce hospital mortality by 58%, but then antibiotics became the treatment of fashion, (Clin. Infect. Dis., Sept. 1994, pg 493) and vitamin A was ignored until 1980. A 1993 study showed that 72% of hospitalised measles cases in America are vitamin A deficient, and the worse the deficiency the worse the complications and higher the death rate. (Pediatric Nursing, Sept./Oct. 96.) Yet doctors and hospitals in New Zealand do not use vitamin A."  http://www.ias.org.nz/measles.htm
PNEUMONIA
I rely on Bill Sardi.  He's well-read.  He probably knows more about nutritional support for different symptoms than anyone else I've ever read.  He starts this article on colds and cold season by citing very specific conditions in the guy that may be responsible for bad colds.  He writes
It’s wintertime and that is the cold and flu season.  The flu produces more severe symptoms and may actually be caused by an enterovirus (gastric tract virus), producing diarrhea, vomiting and fever.  Enteroviruses, like the one that causes polio, are running rampant now and particularly attack young children who have not developed antibodies against them.  Please read my online report about ENTEROVIRUSES and what you can do about them
Do you know what an enterovirus is?  Neither did I.  If pneumonia, or a bad cold for that matter, is accompanied by a really bad sore throat, Sardi recommends
If your throat gets really irritated, you can go to the local pharmacy and acquire some Chloraseptic throat spray or lozenges that provide an anesthetic for the pain.
Vitamin D3 and Zinc are the best arrows in your quiver.
A strong dose of vitamin D3, like 50,000 units, will provoke an army of white blood cells known as neutrophils to arrive at the site of the infection and overwhelm a cold virus.  Sometimes this high dose of vitamin D will completely halt a runny nose cold.
Don’t be fearful of 50,000 units of vitamin D.  Doctors inject 300,000 units at one time for wintertime vitamin D protection of our bones without reported side effects.  I wouldn’t continue to take that much daily vitamin D for over a week.
It is interesting that a runny nose stops when we go to sleep.  The adrenal glands cease producing stress hormones (cortisol, adrenaline) during sleep.  But about three or four minutes after we arise in the morning, the adrenal hormones begin to circulate and our runny nose returns.
Licorice root, too, is a nice complement to D3 and Zinc (OptiZinc).  Zinc Acetate is an excellent immune booster in that it boosts the memory T-cells from your Thymus gland and once it resolves any kind of infection, your thymus gland won't forget the next time that pathogen enters your body.  You may feel a swell in your chest from taking Zinc Acetate, and that is because as we age our Thymus gland shrinks.  Zinc is such a powerful mineral that if taken regularly, it can actually regrow your Thymus to its original size.  So there's that.
Licorice root is an excellent immune booster via its ability to activate sluggish adrenal hormones. Licorice root is especially good for lingering symptoms of a cold or the flu that persist beyond 7-10 days.  (Please see [Sardi's] report on licorice root.)
SEPSIS: THE NUMBER ONE REASON WHY PATIE4NTS DIE IN HOSPITALS TODAY
Why include Sepsis in this list of conditions?  Because it is the most common cause of hospital deaths.  If you're sick and immune-compromised, the last place you want to be is in the hospital.  Bill Sardi makes this clear
Sepsis is the number one reason why patients die in hospitals today.  Sepsis accounts for ~52% of hospital deaths, above cancer (16%) and heart failure (7%).  Sepsis is a bloodstream infection, involving any bacterium or virus, which often occurs among patients who have a weakened immune system and is accompanied by other diseases such as cancer, heart or lung disease, among patients that are in the intensive care unit of the hospital because of their life-threatening condition.
And what is the remedy to sepsis?  Vitamin C.  If you're in the hospital, ask for an IV vitamin C therapy.  If they refuse, begin making plans to get out immediately; that hour, in fact.  If you can't get out immediately, then have a friend or loved one pick you up some vitamin C and start taking 3 grams every 3 hours.  Then get out.

Listen to what Dr. Paul Marik learned about sepsis and vitamin C.

from the Vitamin C Foundation:

SHINGLES
This is for older folks, though younger folks can also endure a bout of shingles.  Vitamin D is the answer.  Sardi notes that
In most cases of shingles, this author has advised sufferers to take 50,000 IU of vitamin D3 and the pain often subsides within an hour or so.  This dose of vitamin D3 should continue or a few days and is not harmful.  There is evidence that vitamin D3 is helpful for shingles but modern medicine is light years behind the times in adopting this vitamin for widespread preventive and therapeutic use.  In one report, reoccurrence of shingles almost dropped to zero among patients taking vitamin D.
SKIN . . . and its care.  Andrew Saul says to start with vitamin C and E:

from Dr. Andrew Saul . . . , posted Sunday, December 17, 2017.
Vitamin C and E seem to be most important for proper healing and maintenance of your skin. Drs. Wilfrid and Evan Shute used vitamin E, both internally and externally, in their extremely successful treatment of third degree burns. Vitamin C is well-known to be essential to holding the cells together and encouraging their normal growth (that's a reason why C is so desperately important to a cancer patient's body). Vitamin C compresses have been used on severe skin ulcerations with success surpassing that of antibiotics. Both of these vitamins can be given internally, plus applied topically without danger of side effects. Recovery periods are rapid with each, and probably best with both.  Show me a person with chronic skin problems and two times out of three I'll bet their diet is deficient in E or C.
ACNE
Zinc.

ANTI-AGING SKINCARE
Saul's recommendations are excellent.  But check out what Bill Sardi offers for solutions to skin problems

ALOE VERA GEL
So in addition to oral Hyaluronic Acid, Bill Sardi highlights the benefits of Aloe Vera gel.  He writes
Oral aloe vera gelpowder has been shown to suppress the loss of skin elasticity via its ability to inhibit enzymes (metalloproteinases) that break down the connective tissue in the skni and prevented a decline in Hyaluronic acid.  [Bioscience Biotechnology Biochemistry July 2016]
One study shows that the consumption fo aloe vera gel providing 40 micrograms of sterols increased the internal production of HA by 1.5 fold and reduces facial wrinkles in women over 40 years of age.  [Clinical CosmeticInvestigative Dermatology Feb 2015]

FERULIC ACID
Pine bark extract (Pycnogenol is a common brand) 100 milligrams consumed orally has been show to reduce aging of the skin and lighten aging spots.  [Clinical Intervention Aging 2012]  Its key anti-aging molecule is ferulic acid.  [Free Radical Medicine Biology April 2000; Journal Food Science Oct 12, 2016]
Ferulic acid taken orally protects against solar ultraviolet aging of the skin.  [Food Chemistry Toxicology August 2015; Skin Pharmacology Physiology 2007]  Ferulic Acid is sold as a strand-alone dietary supplement.

CAROTENOIDS
Lutein, obtained from marigold flower petals for use as a dietary supplement, has been demonstrated to protect skin from solar aging.  [British Journal Dermatology Sept 23, 2016] Oral zeaxanthin (a cousin of lutein) allays facial wrinkles and increases skin moisture.  [Journal Cosmetic Dermatology June 17, 2016]

ROSE HIPS
Rose hips and astaxanthin have been shown to reduce skin wrinkling and aging.  [Clinical Intervention Aging Nov 2015]

ASTAXANTHIN
Astaxanthin, a carotenoid pigment available as a dietary supplement, 6mg/day has been shown to reduce Crow’s feet and improve skin elasticity.  [Acta Biochemical Poland 2012; Journal Dermatological Science May 2010]

QUERCETIN
Quercetin, a molecule found in onions and grapes and red wine, inhibits hyaluronidase, the breakdown enzyme of hyaluronic acid, and would therefore be considered an anti-aging agent for the skin.  [Journal BiologicalChemistry 1950]

MORE ON SKIN
NCBI states that "topical vitamin K cream increased experimental wound healing.  Scroll down to Phytonadione.

ACTINIC PURPURA
NCBI explains that a vitamin K/Montana Arnica treats this very well.  The pictures at the bottom of this article are telling.
My personal observation is that DerMend is very effective for the treatment of actinic purpura. My patients are exceedingly pleased with the results they have achieved as shown in Figures 1 and and 2.2. I recommend that patients treat their hands and forearms where sun damage is more pronounced and where the skin is thinner and skin injury is more likely to occur. For some patients, this may also include the lower legs. The product should be applied to all areas twice daily to improve skin quality and prevent or minimize future lesions and three times daily on bruised areas to improve healing.

Lots of natural remedies that lighten and brighten skin as a form of resolving hyperpigmentation.  Apparently, topical Hydroquinone, 2-4%, alone or in combination with Retinoin, 9.95-0.1%, is an established treatment.  But it sounds like the natural remedies work better.

One remedy called Glabridin, which is licorice extract, has been shown in vitro to have a skin lightening effect 16 times greater than that of hydroquinone and might reduce UVB pigmentation.  My HP is not caused by UVB rays.

SPINAL STENOSIS & VITAMIN C
Take large amounts of vitamin C.  from Dr. Andrew Saul's DoctorYourSelf.

SPINAL STENOSIS AND RELATED PAINFUL BACK PROBLEMS“I was disabled to the point of being unable to put on my own socks and underwear. My 4- and 8-year-old sons had to help me get dressed every day.” (For the rest of this case story, please scroll down nearly to the bottom of this page.)
STD's
Herpes, HIV, Chlamydia, warts, etc.  It doesn't take a genius to know what cities have the highest concentration of individuals infected with one or another STD.  See this chart

Didn't realize herpes was so prevalent.  What young people should know about is how herpes is contracted.
There is an old misconception [that] Herpes Simplex 1 only infects “above the belt” by manifesting as cold sores. Herpes Type 2 was previously considered “below the belt” and caused genital lesions. However, the medical profession has found oral-genital contact can spread either, so that types of herpes have become virtually insignificant.
And what you should know about how to care for it.
The most powerful natural ingredients to dramatically suppress the Herpes virus include Lysine, Zinc, and Vitamin C. Lysine is an amino acid taken to prevent and treat cold sores. It can be applied directly to the mouth or to the skin. It reduces recurrences, healing times, and the severity of outbreaks. Taken with a sufficient dose, Lysine can slowdown the growth and replication of the herpes virus.
That same article adds that
There are several substances which specifically boost immune function. These include Thymic Protein A, Beta Glucan, Lactoferrin, and an over the counter drug called Cimetadine.  The goal is not just to control outbreaks, but to suppress the virus by strengthening your immunity.
Lactoferrin helps to maximize T-cell response to viruses and bacteria.

Just because you're not showing any symptoms does not mean that you're not infectious.  You can still infect others even if you're not presenting symptoms.  So don't deceive yourself or others.  Take immune-boosting compounds that allow you to enjoy close contact with your loved ones.

TESTOSTERONE
Not an easy problem to fix in older men.
Solution #1: Vitamin D.
Solution #2: Boron
Boron may be another dietary supplement that boosts testosterone.  Supplementation with 10 milligrams every other day has been reported to raise testosterone levels significantly. [Journal Trace Element Medicine Biology 2011]
VEINS

VARICOSE VEINS: TREAT WITH ZINC.
Okay, so with varicose veins, it looks like zinc is a prime remedy, according to Bill Sardi.  He writes,
Another common problem of aging is varicose veins, exacerbated by life-long stationary standing (teachers, cash-register clerks, etc. [I’ll add truck drivers and delivery drivers to that list]) combined with elevated estrogen levels that weaken check valves in leg veins and produce pooling of deoxygenated blood.  Varicose veins sufferers also typically experience leg itching for unknown reasons.  Now researchers have found that leg itching is induced by a reduction in skin moisture in the legs induced by a shortage of zinc.  A shortage of zinc induces dry skin (who could have imagined that zinc is a skin moisturizer?).
TREAT WITH VITAMIN C
Sardi explains that vitamin C also helps with varicose veins.  God, I think I take enough vitamin C, and yet here I am with varicose veins.  It's the driving job that produces these.  My legs are inactive for too many hours in the day.  Sardi says
Do you have hemorrhoids, spider veins, and varicose veins?  Begin taking extra vitamin C to strengthen blood capillaries.
TREAT WITH DIOSMIN & HESPERIDIN
About two-thirds of the way down in this article, Sardi has a section titled "Venous Failure (Varicose Veins, Spider Veins, and Hemorrhoids)," where he cites the benefits of "micronized citrus peel extract," called Diosmin & Hesperidin in the marketplace.  It's the citrus peel.  So if you eat the peel of an orange or a lemon or lime, then you're getting the much-need Hesperidin to treat your venous failure or varicose veins.  From that NCBI link on micronized citrus peel extract, it explains what it does for varicose veins and other venous weakness.
The use of micronized purified flavonoid fraction (Daflon) can reduce symptoms of pain, heaviness and oedema in patients with venous reflux and a recent meta-analysis concluded that Daflon improves healing in patients with venous ulceration treated with compression. Pentoxifylline may be a useful adjunct to compression therapy for patients with venous ulceration. Oxerutins and calcium dobesilate may be of benefit in reducing oedema and rutosides may help to relieve the symptoms of varicose veins in pregnancy. The clinical benefits of other medications remain unproven. Although numerous pharmacological agents have been proposed and studied, Daflon has demonstrated the greatest clinical benefits in patients with venous disease.
On Oxerutins, from what I can tell is your everyday rutin, which is a capillary stabilizing agent, NCBI concludes its review with this statement,
Considering both noninvasive tests and clinical evaluation, oxerutins is effective in controlling chronic venous hypertension, without side effect, and with good tolerability.

VITAMIN C
A lack of vitamin C is specifically involved in the cause and progression of chronic back problems such as sciatica and spinal stenosis. The premise is basic: long-term inadequacy of vitamin C causes weak spinal disks.
Without enough vitamin C, the body is unable to make collagen, the protein glue that holds cells together. When the cells of a cartilaginous intervertebral disk are not holding together, the disk will degenerate, rupture, herniate, or “slip.” There is a lot of bodyweight on the bones of your lower back. When you flex and move, and the disks are weak or worn down, the bones can compress nerves emerging from the sides. If only one or two disks are involved, it may result in the characteristic back and leg pain called sciatica.
STENOSIS
It is worse if multiple vertebrae are involved. Without healthy disks to prevent it, the center spinal channel can gradually stenose, or narrow. This channel is very important: it is the hollow through which your nerve superhighway, the spinal cord, runs. Squeezing or kinking the spinal cord means pain and problems. Try watering your garden when a cow is standing with its hoof on your garden hose.
While spinal stenosis is sometimes congenital or caused by a tumor, by far the most common form is acquired stenosis. The usual way one “acquires” it is through injury, or osteoarthritis, or both.
INJURY
Inadequate vitamin C weakens ligaments and connective tissue, making injury easier, inflammation likely, and healing much more difficult.

OSTEOARTHRITIS
Inadequate vitamin C also causes the cushioning cartilage in your joints to deteriorate, roughen, and wear ever thinner. As the cartilage degenerates, bone scrapes on the barebone with each movement. That is osteoarthritis.

PRION DISEASE (ALZHEIMERS)
May be due to a Thiamine (B1) and magnesium deficiency.

WOUND HEALING
NCBI explains that
Arnica oil. Arnica oil is derived from the medicinal plant Arnica montana L. Extracts of A. montana are rich in flavonoids and phenolic acids and demonstrate antioxidant activity in vitro and protection against oxidative damage in fibroblast-like cells. The topical application of an A. montana-containing gel demonstrated beneficial effects on experimental wound healing in an animal model and an A. montana-containing ointment improved pulsed-dye laser-induced bruising in human volunteers.
I had heard of the power of Serrapeptase, an enzyme, to resolve wounds internally.  Bill Sardi explained that "Serrapeptase breaks up existing clots" and that "Arginine clears up calcifications."  Jimmy Lough at Ezine articles, corroborates Sardi's observation,
3. It enhances cardiovascular health by breaking down the protein by-products of blood coagulation called fibrin thus enabling the dissolution of atherosclerotic plaques without causing any harm to the inside of the arteries.
On Serrapeptase, Bulletproof.com states that
If you get injured, serrapeptase may help you bounce back faster. Serrapeptase decreases swelling after surgery and injuries and sped up tissue repair. It also decreased pain.
REDUCES SCARRING
Bulletproof.com adds that
Serrapeptase dissolves fibrin, a particularly tough protein that makes up scar tissue, and emerging research suggests that high doses of serrapeptase may reduce scarring.
