But again like many Pepe or Groyper memes, the core of this is a lonely male figure in sort of an immiserated landscape looking sad, and that's part of the story I wish more people were talking about. Aidan Walker @ aidanetcetera
This has to be added to all of our "analyses" of why Charlie Kirk was murdered. https://t.co/KOEPbsNQDM

2:13. The name Groypers originates from this variant of Pepe the Frog, which comes about in the late 2010s and these guys adopted as a kind of collective self portrait. They make it their profile picture. They make it their moniker. There was the Groypers War of 2019 in which Nick Fuentes and his people trolled Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA, showing up at these debate events and asking questions that would push Kirk to say things that were even more extreme than Kirk was already saying. So where Charlie Kirk took like one step toward these kind of wider Christian nationalist ideas, the Groypers took two steps. They demanded that he make the subtext text. And one of those people have been citing as proof of the Groyper hypothesis is this one from his mother's Facebook that shows him dressed up as a meme for Halloween. It seems like the meme is Gopnik Pepe, which is a 4chan meme to my understanding but I don't quite associate it with /pol/ which is like the political board on 4chan that most people are talking about it. I see it more as like a /k/ meme sort of like a rare Pepe type thing. But again like many Pepe or Groyper memes, the core of this is a lonely male figure in sort of an immiserated landscape looking sad, and that's part of the story I wish more people were talking about. What's driving our political violence isn't just polarization where one side is getting more radical and kind of undermining democracy. Nor is it algorithms like some have said that are like pickling the brains of young people. It is that feeling which these Pepe memes represent of you're always going to be alone, you're never going to have a future, and you're never going to have a voice. And that feeling which is by no means rare or unusual in our society today, collides with a particular set of circumstances, this long entrenched nihilistic online tradition, the ready availability of firearms and the increasing arrangement of mainstream discourse, this ambient sense of like tension and volatility that exists in the air to produce stuff like this. And we're going to see more and more of it unless those root causes are addressed and unless we find a way to offer a better future to people.
Charlie Kirk is dead, and it exposed something vile and horrifying that I want to share you right now just candidly. He was murdered while he was speaking in public to a group of college kids. And there's one part of this that I think should horrify you to the deepest parts of your very soul. Instead of a universal outrage, instead of every decent person saying this is insane and this is wrong, the internet seemingly lit up with these celebrations, cheers and memes and people actually laughing and celebrating the murder of a man because he wore a different political jersey. So let that sink in for a second and I don't think any of this is about Charlie Kirk the person and I don't think it's about whether you liked him or hated him or didn't even care I think it's about the fact that political murder is somehow just another headline nowadays and we scroll right past it there is a whole new low for where we could go and you have people online cheering like it's their team winning a Super Bowl and what you're saying is an evil evil mask slipping this is a signal and it's a signal??? When actual TV networks air over and over clips that encourage people to see the other side not as neighbors that we might disagree with, but as enemies that need to be destroyed as the threat to society. And you've seen it. I have no doubt. We all have seen this. People in the media saying these people are a threat these people are dangerous maybe some violence is Justified and it's not Fringe anymore. This is mainstream. And there are thousands of these clips out there aired to millions of people, kind of nudging suggesting, maybe planting seeds that maybe a fist, maybe a bullet is legitimate form of political debate.
MSNBC, NICOLLE WALLACE: Can you resist the temptation to run up and ring her neck?
DON LEMON: Biggest terror threat in this country.
ROBERT DINERO: I'd like to punch him in the face.
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: I said if we were in high school I'd take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him."
DAVID HARBOUR, STRANGER THINGS: Punch some people in the face!
JOHNNY DEPP: When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?
RICK WILSON: They're still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump, and that's a fact.
2:36. A lot of people don't have the attention span to maybe stick with this, but I pray that you do because I'm going to expose something here that's going to change everything for you if you stick around. But here is the irony and what I think is an absolute concrete law of history. It's concrete law. The minute that your ideas require violence to enforce or spread, they're already completely bankrupt. Every tyrant, every failed ideology, every social collapse starts the exact same way. The debate dies, then violence takes the place of debate, and you can't argue with a gun. You can only kill with it. And when killing is the substitute for a conversation, society as a whole starts falling off a cliff. And we all, myself included, we all have been sold the biggest con of our entire life. And this is that the problem is Left versus Right, or Republicans versus Democrats, and that is the distraction firework show that they want a screaming about while they're doing something else. And this is a magicians trick and this is a magician's trick and I'm about to really show you what Charlie Kirk God Rest his soul has kind of exposed here.
3:51. If you turned on cable news today you go in your living room today you go into your living room turn it on maybe you scroll social media what are you going to see? The absolute fringe. They're going to show you the loudest, dumbest, most cartoonish people from the other side blasted in your face 24/7. You're not being shown your neighbor, or your coworker, or the mom next door who votes differently, you're being shown a bunch of professional lunatics that are hand-picked to make you think one thing and the one big thing that they want you to think is, "Oh my God! These people are insane. They are the enemy. That's the reason that we're going downhill.".
And none of this is an accident. This is word for word textbook psychological operations. Military psyops manuals literally describe how you isolate a target audience, then you pump them full of a bunch of outrage. You create a tribal Us vs. Them identity. This is straight out of a psyops textbook.
So the most un-Christian man in the commentariat takes over for the most Christian. We see you. https://t.co/mtUjbEOU28

HR 6090 bill would officially define "Antisemitism" so the federal government can sue, prosecute, or sanction more people, businesses, and universities for supposed violations of civil rights law. --Charlie Kirk

In response to campus anti-Israel protests, the House is rushing to to vote on a new bill, HR 6090. This new bill would officially define "Antisemitism" so the federal government can sue, prosecute, or sanction more people, businesses, and universities for supposed violations of civil rights law.
This bill would make it illegal to compare Israeli policies to Nazi policies. It would make it illegal to describe Israel as racist. It would make it illegal to accuse an American citizen of being more loyal to Israel than to the United States.
But I stand with @RepThomasMassie: This bill is an affront to the Constitution and must not pass.
Where do you think all of the anti-Christian hate in the U.S. and around the world comes from? It's not the Muslim world. Nor is it the Arab world.
When I worked at UPS in the 1980s, I delivered to retail businesses on Wilshire between San Vicente and Fairfax. In the afternoon on my route for pick-ups in the area, there were often bomb threats with a couple dozen employees standing on the sidewalk milling about. This was not rare. It seemed almost weekly to me that at one building or another just east of San Vicente a bomb threat had been declared as evidenced by the crowds on the sidewalk having recently emptied the building. The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles was located on the north side of Wilshire, and I used to pick up from their office there. It was on the 3rd, 4th or 6th floor. Can't recall. But their office had a woman stationed behind bulletproof glass. I didn't tap on it to check; it could have been plexiglass for all I knew. And the sight of it alarmed me to dangers that I certainly was not alert to. But no bomb was ever detonated. No one was ever harmed. Traffic was inconvenienced. Commerce came to a crawl for about 30 minutes before everybody was ordered to return to their offices. In retrospect, was the bulletproof glass necessary? I don't know. I never heard of anyone going into their offices to shoot up the joint. Were the bomb threats real? Who knows? The frequency of them seemed almost to send a message that the Jewish people were the persecuted tribe of Israel? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe it's just the reverse. Maybe.
Ronald Reagan signed the death warrant of the GOP when he signed the Immigration R.A.C. Act of 1986

Immigration R.A.C. Act of 1986. Immigration Reform and Control Act.
Reform? I guess.
Control? Define control.
Here is Reagan's love letter to Mexico and immigrants. Come one and all and your government will look the other way. To citizens, it says "This government doesn't give a rat's ass about your citizenship. We will take every dollar from you until you are broke and don't even think about retiring because we've already looted social security. There will be nothing left in it for you by the time you retire. Oh, and BTW, you'll be paying for even more welfare programs that we haven't said a word about yet. It's lipstick on the welfare state.
"The torch of Lady Liberty symbolizes our freedom and represents our heritage, the compact with our parents, our grandparents, and our ancestors. It is that Lady that gives us our great and special place in the world, for it's the great life force of each generation of new Americans that guarantees America's triumph shall continue unsurpassed into the next century and beyond. Other countries may seek to compete with us but in one vital area as a beacon of freedom and opportunity that draws the people of the world, no country on earth comes close. This I believe is one of the most important sources of America's greatness. We lead the world because unique among nations we draw our people our strength from every country and every corner of the world. By doing so we continuously renew and enrich our nation while other countries cling to the stale past, here in America we breathe life into dreams, we create the future, and the world follows us into tomorrow. Thanks to each wave of new arrivals to this land of opportunity, we're a nation forever young forever bursting with energy and new ideas, and always on the cutting edge, always leading the world to the next frontier. This quality is vital to our future as a nation. If we ever close the door to new Americans, our leadership in the world would soon be lost."
