If you're doing carnivore and feeling rough, you're probably not eating enough fat.
Minimum ratio: 1:1 fat to protein by gram. Optimal for most: 1.5:1 to 2:1. 150g protein needs 150-300g fat minimum. Why? Because your body runs on fat. Protein is for structure. Fat is for fuel. Too much protein without adequate fat and you're just doing an expensive version of rabbit starvation while your liver works overtime converting excess amino acids to glucose. If you're hungry an hour after meals, add more fat. If you're losing weight too fast, add more fat. If your energy crashes, add more fat. The answer is almost always: eat more fat.
