WHITE ERASURE: Three Confederate statues--General Stonewall Jackson, Gov. William "Extra Billy" Smith, & Dr. Hunter Holmes McGuire--being removed from Richmond’s Capitol Square

The legislation to remove them was introduced by Senator Adam Ebbin, Democrat from Alexandria in 2026. He is a native of Huntington, New York and the first openly gay man to serve in the Senate.  He has since resigned to take a position with the Virginia Cannabis Control Board.  A Yankee fudge packer.  --Jim Warren

More History was removed yesterday from Virginia Capitol Grounds...this Monument of Stonewall Jackson was a gift from Britian....it stood for 150 years...also removed was 2 term Gov. Billy Smith and Hunter McGuire....Senator Adam Ebbin had them removed...how sad....all our History being destroyed...
