Lidia @NEWSMAX thank you for having me today and well done as usual. As your interview uncovered, three gatekeepers stand between taxpayer DEMANDS ( mass deportations) and more failure and surrender - Secretary Mark Mullin, Tom Homan and CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott. ALEX PRETTI'S MOTHER MAINTAINS HE WAS 'MURDETED'
1:24. Greg, what I noticed is after the media used this Alex Pretti incident as well as the Renee Good incident to demonize ICE agents. And then, instead of ramping up the ICE deportations and the ice raids, it feels like the Trump Administration almost said whoa, like a lot of people feel like almost [he] kind of capitulated to the left, right? And I saw a recent interview, Greg, where you criticized Tom Holman, he's the borders czar but he's not out there on the front line. You, Greg Bovino, were out there on the front line. Talk to me, we're going to have an open and honest conversation here. Talk to me, do you feel like things are being handled properly at this point?
2:03. Lidia, thanks for having me. It's good to see you again. As far as what's happening here now. Let's just say it. Let's have that Frank and honest conversation. There are no mass deportations occurring. You called it a capitulation in Minnesota. I call it a surrender in Minnesota because of those two martyrs there. Poor choices often lead to poor outcomes. When people make poor choices then there are poor outcomes. But what is really really tragic about that is the even poorer outcome of us not going after illegal aliens wholesale you just had a segment there on the non-assimilation of both illegal and legal aliens. That's still happening. Americans are still dying. What about the Americans that die in a rape maybe even killed every single day in this country by illegal aliens. Why is there no attention given to them by the Rodney Scotts, the Tom Homans, the Gatekeepers, as I now call them? What about them? Who speaks for them? It's still seems like they're lost. Lidia.
3:09. What do you think of the job Tom Holman is doing?
3:12. I think Tom was fantastic in status quo law enforcement I call status quo law enforcement when you have an immigration system that is already under control he came up under that type of system our immigration system is not under control. It takes something dynamic, something far reaching, far ranging to get this under control. Once it's under control, hey, Tom Homan and Commissioner Rodney Scott, they're fantastic for doing the worst of the worst in status quo type operations. Right now we need to move that ball down the field. There is no doubt about it. We've got 107 million to remove the worst of the worst which I also say is a cutting it for amnesty. That won't do it.
3:55. Now, Andrew 15 sheriffs are now challenging New York's ICE restrictions in court. This coming after Governor Kathy Hochul reaffirmed her stance that local officers will not be cooperating with the federal agencies. Watch this.
ICE can no longer use locally funded police to carry out the Trump administration's aggressive and immigration agenda. On civil immigration matters ice is on their own let me be clear any Police Department or Sheriff's offices that disobeys this law that maintains any agreement with ice we'll face legal action.
So here you have the governor of New York threatening police officers with legal action if they dare follow federal law. Andrew, this is crazy . . .
4:47. This is Bizarro world. And Lidia, just to go back to something that Chief Bovino had talked about before, you know, he and I both have decades in law enforcement, decades in . . . mine goes all the way back to before ICE but it was traditional for states localities to assist with INS, to assist with ICE, and the reason that they did that was simple. Even if you accept the contention that most illegal aliens aren't criminals, if you ignore all the crimes that it took for them to get here and live here, one thing that we do know is the criminal aliens are criminals. And, in fact, there was a 2018 Bureau of Justice statistics report that explained that of all the people who were released from Criminal custody in 2005 44% reoffended in one year 63% reoffended and were rearrested within 3 years and 89% reoffended and were rearrested by year 9. So even if you accept the contention that most illegal aliens aren't criminals we do need to get the criminals off the streets because that's the only way that we're going to be able to protect the community and assisted ins assisted ice I was a trial attorney in San Francisco Lydia we're not talking about deep in the Heart of Texas and yet we had a lot of cooperation with the SFPD, the California Highway Patrol in doing our mission because we wanted to get those criminals off the streets what the governor is doing here is undercutting the ability of ice and local cops to keep the community safe this is ridiculous it's also unconstitutional and it violates a US code 1373 so yeah I think they got a pretty good case but just to get back at how ridiculous the whole thing is it's incomprehensible.
6:43. I can't believe it hopefully president Trump does something about it speaking of trump Greg bovino chief Before I Let You Go do you think the Trump Administration has let down the American people by surrendering to use your words to the woke left that was very critical because it wasn't a good look right Alex pretty the Renee good we now know according to law enforcement these were justifiable homicides do you think because he promised us the largest mass deportation ever in this nation do you think the Trump Administration has let us down?
7:16. I don't think President Trump has. The folks that work under President Trump, as I have said many times, are not feeding him that correct information. I think President Trump would allow those deportations, mass deportations to occur because he did during that first year when we were in the cities. So individuals within that Administration have definitely let us down and it looks like they're going to continue to let us down unless something changes.
