Lots of CIA, FBI, and US assets working in corp. & gov't bureaus; public ed, too. Few would think an Asian coworker is a spy working for US gov't. Spies destroy your identity via ruse. The goal is the complete destruction of your name, image, and reputation in the minds of friends & family. And income. 

Rings true.  I've heard similar stories from some school teachers and administrators.
