4:05. I had kind of a baptism by fire if you will in an education on Islam because at the time of 9/11 very few people knew anything about it and as I was struggling to learn I was immediately coming up against obstacles and censorship and ostracism you name it and I was very conscious of what language could be used, what the freight would bear in the Public Square because I was writing newspaper columns I was writing editorials at the Washington Times and also going out over the wire so I was acutely aware of what could be said what should be said what wasn't being said along about a few months into all of this terrible Frenzy that happened at that time after the destruction of the twin towers and the Pentagon and the plane over Pennsylvania
7:40 The silence on Islam protects Islam.
