China has a surveillance Network that George Orwell couldn't have dreamed of. And the suggestion that somehow that you have these big drug makers and sort of drug pushers actually operating without the Chinese Communist Party knowing . . . that is fantastic in the sense that you just can't believe it.  I would suggest that anyone who thinks that's the case would go to China and go out of your hotel room and walk around and draw a mustache on a picture of Xi Jinping, the first one you see.  And see if the police aren't at your hotel before you get there or 5 minutes after.  They know what they're doing.  And additionally, I used to do a lot of work with organized, or involving organized crime, and we did Cover the Chinese, and it always tracks back to some arm of the Chinese state.  Always.  It can be the PLA, MSS, the public security but the Chinese organized crime does not operate without the support and the protections of the Chinese state, and that's just the reality of it.  So you have several ways that you can actually understand and get a sense that the Chinese have a direct involvement in the fentanyl that comes into the United States.  And as I said, the numbers are 800,000 [Americans killed by Fentanyl poisoning dumped into American cities by the Chinese] and counting.

Unless there is a cross in our lives there will never be a resurrection.  The Christian law of life is we have to die in order to live.  Now, I do not mean and He didn't mean physically dying, He meant mortification, self-denial, the application of the cross in our lives.  So that unless we die to ourselves we cannot live with him.  We do not like the cross in our lives.  As a matter of fact, we'd like to escape it.  As I told you last night, that's the essence of the demonic, the escape from mortification, the Cross, and the penance. Unless the seed falling to the ground dies, it remains alone.  But if it dies, it comes forth unto life and bears fruit ten, twenty, and a hundredfold.  And this is the essence of Christianity. Remember Christianity is not easy.  That's the reason we have the interest in Oriental religions today.  Because, well, it gives us the joy of having a religion but it does not cost us very much. But Christianity costs something.  Grace is not cheap.  We just cannot walk through life into the kingdom of heaven.  Now what what do we do with crosses?  Well, we have to unite it with our Lord on the cross in order to use it to purchase our Eternal salvation.  That's how we use suffering.  I think the great tragedy of this world is the suffering that goes to waste. People suffer and they have no one whom they can love. Love does not kill pain but it diminishes it.
