A foreign conviction does not show up there. Neither does a Red Notice. A man carrying a 9-year sentence in another country registers in that column as a Non-Criminal. And TRAC quietly narrowed it further. They used to count a criminal record, convictions and pending charges together. Now the headline number counts convictions only. So the fleeing to elude felony he is sitting on in Iredell County right now does not move him out of that bucket either. That is the statistic immigration advocates march behind.
