Remember, the same Republican Party that held the door for “Russia collusion” and COVID, also told you Abdurahman Alamoudi was a great guy. Alamoudi was the Islamic advisor to President Clinton for 8 years and worked with the George W. Bush campaign. He created the Muslim Chaplain Program for the Department of Defense (DOD) and was a goodwill ambassador for the Department of State and participated in Middle East peace talks on behalf of the US government. Alamoudi was a darling of many US media outlets and the Washington Post called Alamoudi the “pillar of the Islamic community.” FBI Director Robert Mueller III called Alamoudi’s American Muslim Council (AMC) “the most mainstream Muslim group in the United States.” In 2004, Alamoudi was sentenced to 23 years in federal prison. He was a senior US MB leader and the largest fundraiser for Al Qaeda in North America.
