Many pupils come from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The special-education teacher, identified only as “Carola S.,” told Bild that fights and shouting regularly disrupt classrooms and the schoolyard, with police sometimes called several times a week. She also revealed that drugs are dealt on school grounds and described an extreme case involving a 15-year-old girl who prostituted herself in the school toilets for drugs and money, later became pregnant, and left the school. Academic outcomes are also suffering: almost 40% of pupils failed to obtain their secondary-school leaving certificate this year. The teacher also described cultural conflicts, including a Syrian father who objected to his son being taught by a woman. Carola said she herself was punched in the face while intervening in a fight three weeks earlier, leaving her with a split lip. She says colleagues have also been insulted, threatened and even ambushed after school.

She accused authorities of abandoning teachers, saying: “They’ve left us to fend for ourselves.”

Your favorite takeaway no longer exists.  In its place stands a Kabob shop.  The streets of your cities, towns, and villages are now permanently occupied by a loitering foreigner class.  Best way to describe them: permanent loiterers who seem to be hanging around street corners 24 hours a day.

Everything you knew and loved has changed.  

For every two babies born in Ireland a foreign baby is born here too.

1/3 of the births in Ireland for the last few years have been to foreign parents.

A London team pulled them from men who had died of heart disease, then compared each plaque against the fat on that man's own body, which is a decades-long record of what he had been eating. The omega-6 in the body fat matched the omega-6 in the plaque. The omega-6 in the blood matched the omega-6 in the plaque. The saturated fat matched nothing at all. Three years later the same group counted 668 plaques taken from thirty men dead of ischaemic heart disease. Omega-6 came to between 44 and 46 per cent of all the fat in them. Which is what you would expect, because of how a plaque is actually built. An LDL particle has to oxidise before a macrophage will swallow it. The macrophage becomes a foam cell. The foam cell becomes the plaque. Every cardiologist on earth agrees on that sequence. Oxidation starts by tearing a hydrogen off a fatty acid, and it can only tear one off a polyunsaturated fat. A saturated molecule offers nothing to grab. A monounsaturated molecule barely does. So linoleic acid is the ingredient the disease requires. It is the thing that goes rancid, gets eaten, and gets left in the artery wall. Saturated fat cannot perform that reaction. It has never been chemically capable of it. The Lancet printed the first paper in 1994, and the authors wrote plainly that the push towards eating more polyunsaturated fat ought to be reconsidered. Nobody reconsidered anything.

Butter has served thirty years for a crime the frying oil committed, and the evidence was on the slab the whole time.

The environmental impact? Pure theater. Most clunkers got 18+ mpg -- hardly gas guzzlers. Meanwhile, building new cars generates 25 tons of CO2 per vehicle before they leave the factory. The program likely increased net emissions while making transportation less affordable for everyone earning under $50k.

There is something important here: St. George Police Department officially uses automated license-plate readers (ALPRs). Its policy says the system automatically detects plates and can be used to identify stolen/wanted vehicles, stolen plates, missing persons, active warrants, and for “suspect interdiction” and electronic surveillance.

So if you personally experienced a St. George officer notice your California plate and then follow you for three blocks, it is reasonable to consider the possibility that the plate attracted attention. That still doesn't tell us why the officer followed you—the plate could have triggered an automated alert, or the officer could simply have decided to take a closer look.

FATHER MIKE SCHMITZ: You're the living continuation of the greatest story ever told.

Father Mike Schmitz is a well-known priest of the Diocese of Duluth, Newman Center chaplain at the University of Minnesota Duluth, and host of popular Ascension Presents content such as the "Bible in a Year" podcast.

In every age, it can seem like the church is on her last breath.  Today is no different.  Think of Good Friday.  On the outside, it looked like the end.  But in reality, God was at work hidden, faithful, unstoppable.  Iran in the early church when Christians were being thrown to the lions, God raised up Saints, like Ignatius of Antioch and Saint Polycarp, who's sacrifice strengthened the entire flock.  When the church was wounded by scandal in the Middle Ages, He called Dominic, Francis, and St. Clare, whose faith in radical poverty reminded the Church of the heart of the Gospel.  Most recently the 20th century when war and atheistic regimes seemed to blot out the faith, God gave us Maximilian Kolbe, John Paul II, Teresa of Calcutta because every age has its Good Friday.  Every age has its moment when people say, "This is the time. The church is finished.  The story is over."  And every time, Jesus raises up his body again.  Every time the Holy Spirit breathes new life where we thought that there was only death.  And that's how Saints rise up. Movements begin, holiness spreads because in every age God calls Ordinary People to extraordinary faith.  And he can use anyone.  There was a man who resisted God's call again and again.  We know that man today as Saint Augustine.  And when he had finally embraced the gospel, he penned these words.  He said, "Late have I loved you.  Your beauty ever ancient, ever new."  That's what God's love is.  It's as ancient as the first breath he gave Adam.  It's as new as the breath filling your lungs right now, every heartbeat in your chest, every inhale in your lungs.  You're the living continuation of the greatest story ever told.  God has chosen you for this moment, because when it seems like the church is on her last breath, when it seems like the story is over, that's when God shows the work.  The church is most alive.  

What began long ago is breaking into our lives today ever ancient ever new.

I think part of it maybe to cover over the sins of the past.  I consider myself a bit of a medical historian and I happen to know that there was a situation in the 1960s where Simian virus 40, SV 40, a cancer promoting virus called "the perfect War Machine" by one of the world's experts, that this virus was taken from the polio vaccine because that's where the scientist had to get it from because Humanity was being injected with it alongside a lot of other things, and they literally took this virus, and they irradiated it in gain of function experiments to make it more carcinogenic, and then they would put it in animals, take those tumors, put the tumors in a blender, take them to the lab, and radiate it with a linear particle accelerator to make it more aggressive; and they would keep going in a circle until they got the maximum killing capacity out of this virus.  So this was gain of function stuff going on in the 1960s under the guise of "killing Fidel Castro."  Well it was never used to kill Fidel Castro.  It was turned over to MD Anderson, and the technology supposedly disappeared and then boom we end up with SV40 in the plasma in our vaccines in 2021.  So you know it's just been going on for a long time.  And if we wouldn't notice if there wasn't one survivor that is still around with us named Judyth Vary Baker, who is able to tell the story because she was there. Everybody else was either killed, actually everybody was killed pretty much within a year of this except for one guy, the guy, the head of it.  Anyway, it's an amazing story and it's one of the things that I'll be talking about at CHD this weekend. But this whole gain of function thing is again it's not new, and if they were to admit that they took a carcinogenic virus from the animal kingdom and then made it more aggressive and mass distributed it into Humanity by accident and then afterwards did this gain a function thing.  And we watched the cancer rates rise at that point. Everybody knew somebody that got cancer within 20 years of the whole mass vaccination program of the 1950s and 60s.

It is an announcement: we are here, this is our space, this sound now belongs to this territory. The volume is not incidental. It is the point. When hundreds of men kneel in formation, blocking the street, stopping traffic, occupying the public space – this is not devotion that happens to inconvenience others. This is the deliberate occupation of shared space as a statement of priority. We are here. This street is ours. Your traffic, your commerce, your life – these wait. In any other context this would be recognized immediately for what it is. If a political movement blocked streets, amplified its anthem five times daily, and organized mass public displays of solidarity in formation – we would call it what it is: a show of force. The competition is not always military. It is demographic, cultural, acoustic. It is the call that is heard whether you consent to hear it. 1893: Fridtjof Nansen sails a ship into the Arctic pack ice and deliberately lets it freeze solid, because he has worked out that the ice itself is a current and intends to ride it across the top of the world. The Fram locks in on 22 September and the drift begins. 1895: the drift is not going to reach the Pole. So on 14 March, Nansen and Hjalmar Johansen step off the ship with dogs, sledges and two kayaks and set out to walk there. On 8 April they turn back at 86°14′ north. Further than any human being has ever been, and not far enough. Behind them the ship has gone, ahead of them there is no land for hundreds of miles, and the provisions are finite. They walk south for four months across shifting ice and open water. On 6 August they reach an island, the first ground either man has stood on in two years. Then the food runs out entirely, and that is where the story actually starts. They build a hut. Stone walls, a driftwood ridge pole, a roof of walrus hides. They move in on 26 August 1895 and they do not leave until 19 May 1896. Two men, one greasy sleeping bag, nine months of Arctic winter. They live on polar bear and walrus. That is the whole diet. Bear meat fried in walrus blubber, bear broth, blubber burned in a lamp to cook the next lot. No flour. No vegetables. No fruit. No supplements. Nothing green enters that hut for the better part of a year. They should have been dead by Christmas. Every naval authority in Europe in 1895 knows what happens to men in the far north with no fresh vegetables. Scurvy is the thing that empties ships. It killed more sailors than every enemy combined, and the entire Royal Navy's provisioning doctrine is built on stopping it. They walk out of that hut in May with their teeth in their heads. On 17 June 1896 they meet Frederick Jackson on Northbrook Island, and Jackson does not recognise the man in front of him. Nansen is filthy, black with soot and blubber grease, hair to his shoulders. He is also, after nine months on nothing but bear and fat, in good health. Now sit with the timing. Vitamin C did not exist as a concept. Nobody isolated it until 1928. Nansen could not have told you why he was fine, because the word had not been invented yet. He had learned the method from Inuit hunters in Greenland in 1888 and he simply copied them: eat the fresh kill, eat the fat first, do not cook the life out of it. The knowledge was available. Every Arctic people on earth had it. Nansen brought it home in his own body and published it, and Europe carried on believing that men need plants or they rot. Sixteen years later Scott's men would die on the way back from the Pole, hauling their own sledges, eating from tins. Modern polar expeditions still run on fat. Nobody crossing an ice cap is eating salad. The bodies of the men who do it are fuelled the way Nansen's was, because the alternative does not work and everybody in that field knows it. We accept it as true at 86 degrees north and dispute it in a kitchen in Cheshire. Nansen died in 1930, at 68, with a Nobel Peace Prize on the shelf for feeding starving people after a war.

He spent nine months proving what a human being can run on, and the profession that should have been most interested filed it under exploration.

2:18.  Yes, the iron levels of ferritin levels there are different ways of testing iron, multiple different ways of testing iron and iron's binding capacity.  You know how you store because you can actually sequester iron in your bone marrow and things like that try to hide it away for different reasons.  And then have it bring it out and ferritin, of course, can change dramatically depending on what you're doing.  Ferritin is actually quite useful as an acute phase reactant meaning that if you have a lot of inflammation in your body like an infection or some sort of autoimmune issue or similar, that your ferritin will raise and will go up.  So that can actually be a marker not of just high iron but of inflammation.  

3:14.  It's not something that you should look at solely to consider your iron levels because there are a lot of things that affect your fairing 10 levels and so you need to get a complete iron profile and panel to see exactly what's going on to see if you're sequestering it or you just don't have enough and if you have too much or whatever but if iron overloaded that shows up in different ways people with hemochromatosis like halves specific problems that you can test for you can see clinically in doing carnivore tendon not have those issues even if they're iron is sort of slightly high or elevated or more elevated than they have been or maybe they're ferritin is up or something like that they don't actually display the clinical issues some may have an issue but I don't work with hemochromatosis myself.
