This is so sad Watch this heartbreaking video and tell me that our veterans don’t deserve better than this. Tom Caprara was born at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. He grew up on the base drinking the water and playing in it as a kid, and years later he and his brother both developed a rare form of leukemia. They weren't alone either; hundreds of thousands of veterans and families have filed claims after being poisoned by water the government knew was contaminated (and covered up) for decades. He told his wife after taking chemotherapy that it was so bad he'd rather die than go through it again a second time. And now a lifelong Democrat at the Department of Justice named Stanley Woodward has been slow-walking settlements while veterans like Tom are still waiting to receive an apology and justice for what was done to them. More than 400,000 claims have been filed, and most have only received pennies in settlement offers, while veterans are dying every day with legitimate claims that Woodward has failed to act on. This is wrong! Please help fix this @AGToddBlanche.
