Support the Open Letter: Urge Governors Abbott and DeSantis to Investigate Sharia-Supremacist Mosques and Pause New Construction Thirty-three leaders of patriotic organizations across the country have released an open letter to Governors Greg Abbott of Texas and Ron DeSantis of Florida. The letter commends both governors for designating the Muslim Brotherhood and its American front group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), as terrorist organizations. It then calls on them to take the next necessary steps: investigate whether mosques tied to the Brotherhood and other Sharia-supremacist networks are functioning as “critical infrastructure for jihad,” and declare a temporary moratorium on approving any additional mosques in their states until those investigations are completed.
