China is one of the most tightly controlled societies on Earth. China has a surveillance Network that George Orwell couldn't have dreamed of. And the suggestion that somehow that you have these big drug makers and sort of drug pushers actually operating without the Chinese Communist Party knowing . . . that is fantastic in the sense that you just can't believe it.  I would suggest that anyone who thinks that's the case would go to China and go out of your hotel room and walk around and draw a mustache on a picture of Xi Jinping, the first one you see.  And see if the police aren't at your hotel before you get there or 5 minutes after.  They know what they're doing.  And additionally, I used to do a lot of work with organized, or involving organized crime, and we did Cover the Chinese, and it always tracks back to some arm of the Chinese state.  Always.  It can be the PLA, MSS, the public security but the Chinese organized crime does not operate without the support and the protections of the Chinese state, and that's just the reality of it.  So you have several ways that you can actually understand and get a sense that the Chinese have a direct involvement in the fentanyl that comes into the United States.  And as I said, the numbers are 800,000 [Americans killed by Fentanyl poisoning dumped into American cities by the Chinese] and counting.
