That is my fear as well. I tend not to get into the abortion debate if I can help it. But I am concerned that factions of both parties are now salivating over the prospect of making this the centerpiece of the election campaign, and there is no good outcome from doing so.

Just remarkable that evil, the killing of a baby, is politicized to the point that entire states come to the defense of the murderer at the cost of the innocent. So the next time you hear any politician appealing to you to vote on bonds or school policies and uses the phrase, "It's for the children." Just remember exactly and all that the stare does for the children.
To combat the Roe v. Wade decision, democrats in CA have introduced SB 1142 which would invite women across the country to come to CA for an abortion, paid for by CA. Planned parenthood is salivating at the thought of all the $$ they will make.
