SUPPLEMENTAL ZINC HELPS RESTORE HEALTHY HEART PUMPING AFTER A HEART ATTACK

Bill Sardi has a March 19, 2019 article on the value of zinc supplementation posted at Martie Whittekin's site, Healthy By Nature.  

Sardi alerts us to a serious health condition: zinc depletion or zinc deficiency.  It's not that we're all born deficient, but certain environmental exposures puts some of us at greater risk of becoming zinc deficient.  And given the importance of zinc in regulating our immunity, in development, and in its role in certain intellectual abilities, like reading, and composing one's emotions, zinc deficiency becomes quite a serious social health issue.  So how do we know if we're deficient in zinc?  If you've had a serious illness or if you're chronically ill, chances are you're zinc deficient.  There are, however, signs of zinc deficiency.  See the list of symptoms below.  There are so many things in our lives that can make us deficient in zinc.  Sardi points out a major culprit: arsenic.  So somehow too many of us are getting exposed to arsenic, but how?  Through our food.  More specifically, from Glyphosate: i.e., RoundUp.  
The first culprit that comes to mind is arsenic as blood concentrations of zinc and selenium, two essential trace minerals, drastically decline with exposure to arsenic.  The widespread use of glyphosate weedkillers [e.g. Roundup] in crops may be the hidden source of arsenic [or for some other reason glyphosate lowers zinc].
Dr. Derrick Lonsdale made a similar point, citing the pathology that arises from consuming non-organic foods that are sprayed with RoundUp.  He said if your food is not organic, then it has glyphosate in and on it.  Which means that we're all susceptible to zinc deficiency.  Sardi presents it thus:
Something has happened in America.  In retrospect, it appears zinc in the American diet has vanished or is not getting absorbed.  Either way, too many Americans exhibit overt symptoms of zinc deficiency.  A blood test is notoriously inaccurate as zinc may be locked up with a binding protein and be biologically unavailable.  Here are some signs and symptoms of zinc deficiency that may help you determine if you are zinc deficient [you don’t have all or even many of these]. 
Here are the symptoms.   
·         Are you losing your sense of smell?
·         Are you losing your sense of taste?
·         Do you crave salt and habitually to add salt to your foods?
·         Do you have adult-onset acne?
·         Is your hair prematurely turning grey?
·         Does your nail bed show white flecks?
·         Do you heal slowly from cuts?
·         Do you have a low sperm count?
·         Do you frequently experience cold sores on your lips?
·         Do you have an upset stomach, air, and gas, after meals?
·         Do you have skin problems like fungal infections (Athlete’s foot), yellow toenails?
·         Do you have chronic diarrhea?
·         Do you have thin or sparse hair, vanishing eyebrows?
·         Do you have moles on your skin?
·         Do you experience eczema (atopic dermatitis; red, itchy skin)?
·         Are you lethargic or irritable for no apparent reason?
·         Is your testosterone level low?
·         Do you experience a rash around your genitalia or mouth?
·         Do you regularly consume alcohol?
·         Do you take an ACE inhibitor blood pressure pill (lisinopril)?
·         Do you have stomach ulcers?
·         Do you or your children have difficulty reading due to dyslexia (letters are backwards)?
Who exactly is at greatest risk of zinc deficiency?  No one is immune.  

Food alone either takes too long to restore sufficiency or it lacks the ability altogether.  So supplements are required.  Sardi poses the questions, "How do we correct the shortage of zinc?"  Oysters is the food with the highest concentration of zinc.  You'll have to eat quite a bit.  Sardi explains, 
Aside from oysters, there is no single food that provides enough zinc to correct a deficiency.  Typical zinc intake levels are 10 milligrams/day but maybe only 1-2 milligrams are actually absorbed.  Older adults with low stomach acid levels typically have difficulty absorbing zinc.  And wouldn’t you know, zinc is an important co-factor in the internal synthesis of hydrochloric acid in the gastric tract. 
It was important for me to hear that "very high concentrations of zinc are found in the liver, muscle, brain, and testes."  Men, take heed.  "it is no wonder that zinc sufficiency has something to do with brain function, testosterone synthesis, and liver health."
Sardi explains that "There are ~2000 milligrams of zinc stored in body tissues."  Yes, but what happens if you get seriously ill, like say you contract measles or scarlet fever or chickenpox.  These drain your zinc stores.  For older folks, it's low stomach acid that keeps us from getting enough zinc.  So if it's not environmental issues, like Glyphosate, then it's low stomach acid due to age or some kind of illness, maybe diabetes, that depletes us of adequate zinc.  Sardi points out that "The trace mineral selenium helps to release zinc so it is biologically available."  What this means is that for zinc to be more absorbent, you'll need to take selenium with it.  
Zinc shortages cause loss of smell and taste, including mental decline.  
Zinc is responsible for a strong immune system.  It regulates the size of your master immune gland, called the Thymus gland.  Sardi says that "Zinc is required to activate T-cells, those memory white blood cells that confer life-long immunity via memory T-cells that produce antibodies against various pathogenic germs."

(Natural News) The Washington Post is a CIA front, owned by Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.com, who also built much of the CIA’s “private cloud” data processing infrastructure after winning a $600 million contract from the agency in 2013.  In the years since, the Washington Post has functioned as pure propaganda, pushing fake “Russia hoax” news, smearing Trump administration officials and promoting the lies of deep state criminals like John Brennan and James Comey who are still trying to pull off an illegal political coup.
“The corporate media serve the function of manufacturing consent for government policy by systematically lying to the public about what science tells us about the safety and effectiveness of vaccines,” writes health policy analyst Jeremy R. Hammond on his website.
CIA-funded Amazon.com is quietly turning into a pharmaceutical retailer
But the Washington Post’s malicious propaganda and lies don’t end with geopolitics: They’re also in bed with Big Pharma, pushing the vaccine industry’s talking points while smearing all the pioneers of natural health and health freedom. That’s because Jeff Bezos is quietly turning Amazon.com into a pharmaceutical company, having already purchased one online pharmacy company for $1 billion while rapidly expanding its state pharmacy licenses to be able to retail prescription drugs across America.
According to media reports, Amazon believes it could earn $50 billion a year selling prescription drugs, and it has hired a team of drug industry experts in preparation for launching nationwide prescription medication retail operations.
But to maximize its drug profits, Jeff Bezos needed a way to suppress the sales of nutritional supplements and natural health products that keep people healthy. After all, healthy people don’t need prescription drugs and Amazon’s Big Pharma profit model relies on keeping people popping medication pills every day for the rest of their (miserable) lives.

The Bezos solution? Unleash propagandists like Lena Sun at the Washington Post to smear natural health pioneers like Dr. Mercola, claiming natural health supplements are “unapproved by the FDA.” (Because they’re not drugs, so of course they’re not approved as drugs.)
Lena Sun is, essentially, the “vaccine deep state” propagandist for the CIA front known as the Washington Post, a malicious, anti-America, anti-health, anti-human disinformation rag run by spooks and truly evil people who want the worst for America. These people not only want to see America overrun by illegal immigrants via open borders policies, they want all Americans to stay sick enough to need prescription medications from Amazon.com, which will be announcing a nationwide drug retail operation very soon.
To keep people sick, malicious anti-journalists like Lena Sun have to lie about the safety of vaccines as a way to convince people to keep taking the very shots that spread infectious disease and contaminate their bodies with aluminum, mercury, squalene and other toxic chemicals that are deliberately formulated into vaccines. So Lena Sun, obviously under orders from the vaccine deep state, falsely writes that all vaccines are safety tested against the entire childhood vaccination schedule before being released. It’s an outright lie, of course, and she refuses to retract it, but that’s how the CIA rolls: just gaslight everybody while demanding anyone who questioned your lies be silenced or discredited.

In April 2017, Lena Sun wrote a Washington Post article arguing that it’s “a bad idea” for parents to space out their children’s vaccinations rather than strictly complying with the routine schedule recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The concern many parents have is that too many vaccines or too many at one time may be harmful.
[Lena Sun had written] “The effectiveness of the vaccine schedule is tested extensively to ensure that the vaccines in the combination don’t interfere with one another and can be easily handled by the infant and the child’s immune system. No new immunization is added to the schedule until it has been evaluated both alone and when given with the other current immunizations.”
But that is a brazen lie. The Institute of Medicine (IOM), which the CDC itself relies on as an authoritative source, acknowledged in a 2013 report that “existing research has not been designed to test the entire immunization schedule”. As the IOM reiterated, “studies designed to examine the long-term effects of the cumulative number of vaccines or other aspects of the immunization schedule have not been conducted.”
I contacted the Washington Post to point out their error and request a correction. I sent several emails providing them with those sources and then spoke to Lena Sun on the phone. She confirmed that she and the editors had received my request for a correction. She also acknowledged having looked at the IOM report I’d provided. She nevertheless refused to acknowledge her error, instead unthinkingly and absurdly accusing me of having taken the IOM quote “out of context”—as though there was some context that could fundamentally alter the plain meaning of the IOM’s statements so as to accord with Sun’s opposite claim.
Both Lena Sun and her editors know better, but to this day, the article on the Post website continues to lie deliberately to parents by telling them that no vaccine is added to the schedule until it’s been studied for safety when given along with all the other vaccines on the schedule.

FDA routinely approves useless and absurdly lethal drugs because Pharma’s control of medical journals has made virtually all the science that FDA relies upon unreliable.
Lancet editor Dr. Richard Horton acknowledged in 2002 that the journals that publish the drug studies upon which FDA bases its approvals “have devolved into laundering operations for the pharmaceutical industry” and that “half the published science is probably untrue.” BMJ editor Dr Peter Doshi calls Pharma’s clinical trials “misleading” and NEJM editor Marcia Angel said “It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published.” The world’s leading authority on medical research, Dr. John Ioannides said that 90% of FDA’s published medical information is flawed and riddled with conflicts.

One of the key functions of vaccines is to literally damage the brains of children and keep the IQ of the population suppressed. That’s why vaccines are intentionally laced with neurotoxins like MSG, formaldehyde, mercury and aluminum. These are all admitted ingredients in vaccines, according to the CDC.
Only a lunatic, a child murderer or a vaccine deep state propagandist would ever demand a healthy child be injected with such substances. Yet this is the official position of the Washington Post, to no one’s surprise.

Another function of vaccines, of course, is to cause widespread infertility and spontaneous abortions as part of the global depopulation agenda that’s also pushed by these same journo-demons who claim to be writing about “public health.” (In truth, they actually want to see much of the public exterminated.)

Harvesting organs, raping women, torturing people who meditate and trafficking in human organs all seems to be perfectly fine with Lena Sun. And vaccinate your children too, see? Now you’re in alignment with the health-destroying agenda of the Washington Post, the CIA, communist China and all those who seek to destroy life, liberty, and America itself.

The creatures at the Washington Post are demons pretending to be journalists. They’re not even human anymore. They’ve surrendered their dark hearts to the Prince of Darkness, and that’s who’s talking to you through the Washington Post now: Demons that seek the total destruction of human health, human freedom, and human rights. DIET OF POLISHED RICE, ASSOCIATED WITH AFFLUENCE, CAN CAUSE BERIBERI

It is now well known that thiamin deficiency is the major cause of beriberi, a disease that had affected humans for centuries.  The name “Kakke” was the term used for the disease in Japan and this word can be found in documents as early as 808 (Inouye K, Katsura E. 1965).  Until the 17th century, the majority of the population in Japan took unpolished rice as the staple food.  Polished rice was associated with relative affluence since it looked better on the table when served.  Epidemics of beriberi have been known to occur in association with increased affluence simply because it was expensive to take the rice to the mill.  When white rice was served to friends, it became a signature of the newly acquired affluence.  As the ingestion of well-milled white rice became nationwide, so the incidence of the disease increased.  This is because the B group vitamins are in the discarded husks.  The first national statistics on mortality appeared in 1899 and showed a death rate of 20 per 100,000.  This dropped to 0.5 in 1959 after its nutritional association was discovered.  Of considerable interest to us today, for reasons that will appear later in the chapter, the peak incidence of the disease occurred in August and September every year.  Factory workers would take their lunch between factory buildings.  If the sun came round so that it shone into the corridor, some workers would get the first symptoms of the disease.  It was evident that the sun’s rays would stress them sufficiently to initiate these symptoms.  It was therefore hardly surprising that the etiology in the early 1900s before its nutritional association became common knowledge, was considered to be from infection.  
The discovery of the relationship of thiamine with malnutrition came in the late decades of the 19th century, but it was many years before scientific knowledge caught up.  A Japanese naval surgeon by the name of Takaki studied in England from 1875 to 1880.  He noted that beriberi was less common in the British Royal Navy than in navy personnel in Japan where the diet on ships was very different.  In 1882, a Japanese naval vessel sailed on a 272-day voyage.  On its return, 61% of the crew had succumbed to beriberi.  Two years later, another ship completed the same voyage but was provided with an ample supply of dried milk and meat, giving a carbon to nitrogen ration of 16:1.  Only 14 crew members had developed beriberi.  Takaki concluded that a lack of nitrogenous food was the cause of the disease, a notable contribution before vitamins were known.  
In 1890, Eijkman found that polished rice, given to pigeons, caused polyneuritis and the histopathology was similar to that seen in humans in beriberi.  Funk and Cooper isolated an “anti-beriberi factor” from rice polishing in 1910 and this was crystallized in 1926 and called Vitamine (Jansen BCT, Donath W F. 1926).  It was not until 1936 that thiamin was synthesized (Williams R R, 1938) leading to an explosion of basic science and clinical experimentation.  The work of Sir Rudolph Peters (Peter R A, 1936) exposed the vitally important association of thiamin with what was later to become the science of oxidative metabolism. 
Dr. Derrick Lonsdale, founder of Hormones Matter and author of Thiamine Deficiency Disease, Dysautonomia, and High-Calorie Malnutrition (2017), says that Thiamine is the therapeutic remedy to beriberi like symptoms that emanate from a thiamine deficiency.  The preferred form of Thiamine is not necessarily the water-soluble, B1, but instead the fat-soluble B1, Allithiamine is preferred because it gets into the tissue and not just circulate in your blood.    

This explains our condition:
Because mild to moderate TD [Thiamine Deficiency] results in pseudo hypoxia in the limbic system and brainstem, emotional and stress reflexes of the autonomic nervous system are stimulated and exaggerated, producing symptoms often diagnosed as psychosomatic disease.
If the biochemical lesion is recognized at this stage, the symptoms are easily reversible. If not, and the malnutrition continues, neurodegeneration follows and results in a variety of chronic brain diseases. 
What then is the remedy to Thiamine Deficiency?  Thiamine, of course.  But you want the fat-soluble Thiamine, B1, called Allithiamine, for this gets into the relevant brain, muscle, and nerve tissue.  

10 WAYS TO LIVE LONGER

Dr. Joseph Mecola has a new article out, titled "10 Ways to Live Longer."  According to Mercola, 
Centenarians are the fastest-growing segment of the U.S population, with numbers doubling every decade; by the year 2050, the number of people who will have reached the century mark is expected to pass 1 million.
This makes longevity topical.  Mercola cites the study conducted at the University of Arizona on centenarians.  
I liked the concept of alternating, or cycling, between high protein days and fasting.
It’s also important to cycle high and low protein intake. Ideally, combine protein restriction with fasting, followed by increased protein intake on strength training days.
Fasting 16 to 18 hours each day is ideal, as this allows your body to deplete the glycogen stores in your liver to a greater degree.
The benefits of fasting are the suppression of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) and the activation of autophagy, both of which play a role in disease prevention and longevity.
But this cycling may not work for everyone since we've all got different metabolisms and different daily routines.  Some folks sit in a truck and drive all day.  Not much expenditure of energy there due to the sitting, so protein requirements won't be as great.  Others work in repetitive motion jobs.  Some in highly stressful environments.  So gauge for yourself what your protein requirements are but certainly make time for intermittent fasting in your day or week.  Like so many concepts that get great press or go viral, many of us, including myself, don't always question or examine the benefits of something.  The goal of fasting is fat burning.  Some like the keto diet, where your protein consumption is high.  I prefer to the more fatty diets, like cheese and butter.  I just like the effects on my energy with these foods and on my hormones.  I get immediate stress relief from these foods.  Mercola points out that

Centenarians were interviewed.  Certain themes came up time and time again when asked to explain why they've lived so long.  In no particular order, these are the 10 most common reasons they gave for their long lives.  
1.  Keeping a positive attitude.
2.  Participating in moderate exercising like walking, gardening, swimming, etc.
3.  Living independently. Having a circle of friends.  I like Michael Malice's rejection of friends as being too loosely defined to be meaningful.  Not friends but associates, acquaintances, and allies.  Making these people an integral part of our lives and important decisions is a great achievement.  Finding them at work is also a benefit.  You can have work friends.  I mean isn't that where we find most friends to begin with?  
4.  Having faith/spirituality.
5.  Eating good food.  Don't mistake this command for eating rich foods.  Instead, focus on foods that increase circulation, like ginger, garlic, onions, Brussel sprouts, spinach, and broccoli.  If cooked right, you won't have to cringe at the thought of these foods.  With my morning omelet, I prepare broccoli with garlic and butter.  It's a terrific complement to a mere starchy breakfast of bacon, eggs, and toast or English muffin.  Does it take extra effort?  Oh, sure.  Nobody is going to peel the garlic for me.  
6.  Living clean (not smoking or drinking excessively).  For some, like myself, I cannot drink at all, even wine gives me headaches. 
7.  Having family to interact with.  You meaning having family to fight with?  LOL.  There are some family members that I love and get along with.  Others, not so much. 
8.  Being born with good genes.  I got some good genes, but not in the teeth department.

10.  Staying mentally active and never stop learning something new.  I find this to be the most important thing.  A couple of folks I know don't always like learning new things because of the traps or the utility of the thing learned.  Maybe it takes too much time, and that is definitely a factor.  Reading itself is the best way to learn new things.  One of the things that I like about the blockbuster HBO hit series Breaking Bad was when Jessie, tasked with buying all the ingredients for a cook, tells Walt that he had trouble getting any methylamine.  Walt's response was exquisite.  He doesn't panic or get upset but instead asks "What kind of trouble?"  That is the best way to approach most questions or problems.  Ask yourself what kind, for not all problems are life and death ones.  Well, I thought it was good.

Melatonin is an excellent sleep aid.  Actually, so is IP6.  I like the 1 milligram because you have more control over how much you take.  You can start out at 1mg, then work your way up to 2mgs or 3.  You'll find your limit or threshold or the most effective dose on your own.
