Scottish Public Services Ombudsman. 

An NHS board has been ordered to apologise after a patient with a history of Parkinson’s Disease was left starving for two weeks due to a delay in inserting a nasal tube.

The SPSO instructed the Ayrshire and Arran NHS board to apologise to the spouse of a late patient, referred to as C to protect their anonymity.

C complained that the care and treatment provided to their late spouse, referred to as A, including leaving the patient without “appropriate nutrition and hydration” while in hospital.

A was admitted to hospital with a suspected urinary tract infection but their condition deteriorated and they died a few months later. 

Yeah, because you took your loved one to an abattoir.  Keep your loved ones out of the hospital.  Meat-based diet, chiropractic care, vitamins D, C, Zinc, and magnesium will get them through most metabolic events.  Keep them out of hospitals.  For a urinary tract infection?!?!?  Vitamin C, zinc, and D. 

C complained that staff had not treated A with dignity and ascribed A’s symptoms to their pre-existing conditions rather than treating individual needs.

A had a history of Parkinson’s Disease, dementia and cerebrovascular disease.

C also complained about the personal care provided to A, particularly with respect to management of their skin during admission.

Kelsey Kenny, a Registered Dietician, RD, [she's got podcasts] claims that Ivermectin is a double cross; it is a trap designed to lead people into a longer course of poison and ill health.

It was the alternative right if they could only just get this the whole thing COVID nonsense would be done with kind of like the vaccines were sold.

Patients with neurodegenerative diseases (ALS, Alzheimers, MS, et al) are often found to have high levels of very toxic metals in their bodies. EDTA removes them

ALS and Alzheimer's [is associated] with Mercury (there is a number of other metals related to the latter, such as aluminum) Ferraro, 2016.

Mercury and Aluminum are heavy metal ingredients often found in vaccines.  Which would make EDTA an excellent chelator if you've been vaccinated. 

   

Good historical details on EDTA. 

*  It was first used after World War II when sailors from the Navy developed lead poisoning from ship paint (Flora and Pachauri, 2010).

*  FDA approved in the 1950s to treat heavy metal poisoning.

*  More recently has been used in the alternative treatment of cardiovascular neurodegenerative diseases since these have been associated with metal toxicity (Kontoghiorhes, 2013).

At 2:50, she explains that in tiny amounts some heavy metals are important for maintaining homeostasis, like zinc, copper 25 mcg, and iron, but if too much they become toxic.  

METALS INTERFERE WITH PROTEIN FUNCTION

1.  Heavy metals with a positive charge replace hydrogens within the proteins.

2.  This altars the protein's character, preventing its corresponding enzyme from carrying out metabolic processes.

3.  The metals are also in a more stable state within the protein complex and a (neutral charge).

4.  Due to #2 and 3, this new compound cannot be broken down.

5.  These metal protein complexes build up in tissues and cause dysfunction.

6.   Symptoms of heavy metal toxicity include GI disorders ataxia lung disease and much more (Duruibe, et al, 2007). 

EDTA is a very effective against rid of these metals in our tissue build up because it is a very strong chelating agent chelation is the bonding of a ligand to ions and there are other chelating agents that are used for metal detoxification that can include DMSA and DMPS.  There are different chelating agents because they address different heavy metals more effectively.  EDTA comes in two forms most commonly as calcium disodium irritate and what it does if you check out the molecules on the right the metal ion displaces the calcium within the molecule and then that final protein metal complex or the new EDTA complex can get flushed out of the body just from urine the other form of EDTA is sodium meditate but it's less commonly used.

TARGETED DISEASES

1.  Mainly used as a heavy metal detoxifier.  In terms of brain health, it is used to treat neurotoxicity.  It can also act as an antioxidant since heavy metals promote the creation of free radical species that can destroy DNA and cells (Fulgenzi and Ferrero), 2019.

2.  EDTA may be able to cross the blood-brain barrier, BBB, as well.

3.  Patients with ND are often found to have high levels or of various toxic metals and EDTA therapy reduced their ND symptoms.

   * Ms associated with gadolinium (Fulgenzi and Ferrero), 2019.

   *  Parkinson's associated with lead.

   *  ALS and Alzheimer's [is associated] with Mercury (there is a number of other metals related to the latter, such as aluminum) Ferraro, 2016.

8:35. Everyone is exposed to such heavy metal on a daily basis.  basis.  So pretty much anyone can benefit from chelation therapy with EDTA because, you know, even if we might seem healthy, such heavy metals can have an effect on our body and be causing dysfunction in ways we don't even realize.  Remember what she said earlier,

DR. TONI BARK: On Cancer, Chemo, and Mebendozale

Never heard of Dr. Toni Bark until this morning.  She passed in 2020, 1959-2020.  She had a Facebook page.  Sounds like her advocacy here is for childhood vaccines, like MMR, and others.  She's sharp.  She died of cancer.

It's interesting to learn that someone who questions the vaccines, the childhood vaccines, and their schedule, embrace chemotherapy after she did immunotherapy.  That's the thing about knowing anyone.  You never know what therapeutics they're willing to accept to embrace or that they think will heal their condition.  I recommend vitamin D and C to most people.  And none of them have heeded my advice.  They don't know what heals because they hadn't thought of their condition before, as though it has struck them by surprise.  But my first guess would be to target diet since that is what brought them to the point of despair.  

She says that she was on mebendazole, a deworming agent like Fenbendozale, that prevents microtubule formation.  Sounds like Mebendazole could be better for human cancers.

While fenbendazole for human cancer has gained more popularity with some interesting fenbendazole cancer success stories, some research suggests mebendazole might be more effective for treating different types of tumors. For example, research studies have shown that mebendazole could be more effective for brain, prostate, and ovarian cancers. 

She read Tripping Over the Truth: How the Metabolic Theory of Cancer Is Overturning One of Medicines Most Entrenched Paradigms, Travis Christofferson, Foreword by Dominic D'Agostino, 2019.  She said that she responded the best to chemotherapy.  Yes, that is always the case.  Cancerous tumors will always shrink initially.  Always.  But oncologists are focused only on cancer cells, not healthy cells.  And chemo will definitely destroy cancer cells but they also destroy healthy cells.  Think of chemo as a shotgun approach; it blasts the entire body.  It's not targeted despite what oncologists claim.  It's one reason why they need to adjust medication down the line in the therapy.  The other reason they need to adjust medication is because the body adjusts to the chemo: it no longer responds to the chemo.  So when oncologists adjust it, it means they're giving the patient a stronger dosage of a poison that kills both healthy and cancerous tissue.  It's a game that point, like Russian Roulette.  

 

She said she had gastric ulcers.  Zinc Carnosine specifically targets gastric ulcers.

For everything from anemia to headaches to allergies to having healthy bones and just feeling great all the time, copper is an incredibly important nutrient and this is how to know if you're getting enough.

How to manage your copper status to make sure you're getting enough, not too much, and fix any problems and make sure that whatever your solutions are that they're working.  So copper, when you do not have enough you can get anemia that looks just like iron deficiency anemia but isn't, or that looks just like B12 and folate deficiency anemia, but isn't.  In fact, you can get malabsorption of iron from copper deficiency that actually causes iron deficiency, and the problem might not be that you don't have enough iron in your diet, it might be that you're not getting enough copper in your diet to absorb the iron, so you could have anemia from that as well as the many other problems of iron deficiency itself.  You can have low white blood cells, especially in neutrophils; you can have high cholesterol; you could get osteoporosis because copper is needed to support your bones.  You could get histamine intolerance or a greater burden of allergies than you would otherwise have.  You could have poor pigmentation of your skin and hair and neurotransmitter imbalances, like low adrenaline or high serotonin that might leave you feeling like you're not your best.  So what do you do about this?

1:44. Well, the first thing is look at your diet and see whether the dietary pattern that you have is supporting getting enough copper.  The absolute best sources of copper are liver, oysters, shiitake mushrooms, pure chocolate not the stuff watered down with sugar and milk, and spirulina.  A tier below that of very good sources of copper are most shellfish besides oysters, remember oysters are the best, whole grains, legumes, and potatoes.  Diets that are low in these foods are likely to contribute to a copper deficiency, but soil variation is very large, and all these foods, if they are grown in low copper soil, could be much less likely to give you enough copper.  And if you're consuming--if you're not consuming enough of those foods and you are consuming foods from copper-deficient soils, then that makes you very predisposed to copper deficiency.  Zinc supplementation, especially over 45 mg a day and with a zinc-to-copper ratio greater than 15 to 1, can be a cause of copper deficiency.  Methylation can be a cause of copper deficiency, and I'll link in the description of this episode to my methylation resources.  

SOURCES THAT CAUSE COPPER DEFICIENCY

3:08. Other sources of copper deficiency that are not dietary in nature include the use of antacids, proton pump inhibitors, gastric bypass surgery, and any digestive problems that are focused on the upper part of the GI tract like the stomach and the upper part of the small intestine.  And although there's limited evidence for this, it seems to be the case that high doses of Vitamin C can impair copper absorption.  

COPPER TOXICITY?

On the other hand, there is copper toxicity in general from diet.  I do not believe copper toxicity is a concern.  If you are supplementing with copper over 10 mg, that could pose a potential risk of copper toxicity.  I think it's best to keep copper supplements under 10 mg,  preferably under 3 mg a day and it's always best to get your copper from food, and when you do you're benefiting by the fact that the copper is mixed with other minerals, especially zinc, which protects against copper toxicity.  It's extremely unlikely to get copper toxicity from food. There are high copper levels in certain water systems, but when they get to the point where they can cause copper toxicity usually drinking that water is going to make you nauseated and it's usually leaving blue colors all over the place.  If it's really bad, you can see the blue even coming out in your clothing; so usually you have a warning sign, and certainly using a water filter will generally protect you against too much copper coming from your water supply. 

COPPER TESTS 

4:51. The most important test of copper status is serum copper this can be supplemented with serum ceruloplasmin; they tend to go together.  And so you're usually not getting additional information by combining them. And serum copper tends to be more sensitive to deficiency, so you always want to at least get serum copper but it can be helpful to corroborate it with serum ceruloplasmin.  But always get serum copper give that the priority in general low serum copper and low serum ceruloplasmin indicated copper deficiency most of the time.  From what I've seen, I think you want to tend to be in the middle of the range because I have seen indications of copper deficiency when people are in the lower 20 or 30% of the range.  It's important to note a a couple limitations of these tests first estrogen increases serum ceruloplasmin and tends to increase serum copper as well and that means that there's going to be some fluctuation of copper levels with the menstrual cycle and copper levels are generally twice hi during pregnancy as they are for women who are not pregnant and using hormone replacement therapy estrogen and HRT can raise copper levels by 30 to 90%, and unfortunately there really isn't any clear research to develop a separate reference range for women experiencing high estrogen under these conditions, so what we can say is that if your copper levels are running a little high and you can explain it with estrogen you can probably dismiss it because it's normal.  It's probably all the more true in women than in men that you want to be at least towards the middle of the range for copper because if you're at the low and of the range and that might be close to deficiency that's all the more true if you would expect your estrogen levels to be bringing the copper up higher.

GENETIC PREDISPOSITION TO COPPER DEFICIENCY

There are two genetic disorders of copper metabolism Menkes Disease and Wilson's Disease
