This is kind of a big deal . . . mainly because this is scientific inquiry in action. Someone proposes a thesis, marshals evidence on its behalf, publishes their findings, and subjects it to the scientific community and the world at large. Until some day, someone points out an inconsistency, or contradiction, and says, "Wait a minute." I've always liked Mikovits' convictions, and now with this revision, or recanting, I like her even more.
