Dr. Omar Amin of Parasitolgy Center

What got you interested in parasites and infectious diseases.  When my dad was an MD, I wanted to treat my patients as an avenue to address some infectious diseases.

I grew up in Egypt.  Born 3,200 years ago that I was aware of--Tibetan Buddism.

I was a student of ancient Egyptian medicine, archeology, infectious diseases, for which I have a number of publications.  First job was with U.S. Navy.  In a lot of cross-sectional studies, about 32% of the population has had parasites.  1/3 of clinical pathologies are due to parasites.  No, he says 67% of the American population has parasites.  Which ones I wonder?

Chron's syndrome, IBS, colitis is a by-product of parasites, not properly tested or treated.   No proper test for parasites, and consequently can't know what to prescribe for parasites.  digestive chronic symptoms are more likely parasites.  Celiac, IBS, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis.

Lab Corp claims that their parasite test is extensive, but their test only tests for 1 protozoa-type parasite and that's it.  There are thousands of them; there's possibly upwards of 80,000 to 100,000 of them.  but if they don't find that one designated type that they're reporting to the medical doctor, there's no evidence of parasites.  Genova Labs only tested for 2 protozoans.

Chinese herbs and homeopathics.  50% of the children we test that show ulceritisic colitis show parasites and are incorrectly treated with steroids.  Patients that show parasitic symptoms but show no parasites per se will be tested for pathogenic bacteria.  If not one, invariably the other.  Pathogenic bacteria: cripsiella, e coli, and others.  He also tests for fungus and fungus spores.  Skin manifestations.  Martorella.  How about candida.?  we find it in the bacteria panel and in the parasite panel.

Women have candida more than men do.   Related to autism and high liver . . . .  women have 2x as much Candida as men do, esp women who've been treated with antibiotics.  Psoriasis, hives, eczema, had a correlated parasitic infection in their colon and other areas of their body.  Infections are not detected because they're asymptomatic.
