Eat Butter for Stronger Teeth
from C. Thomas Corriher
You can safely bleach your own teeth using a natural substance: oxygen. Simply rinse and gargle with oxygenated water, more commonly known as hydrogen peroxide, every time that you brush your teeth. In a matter of weeks, a tremendous change will be seen in the color of the teeth. The oxygen from hydrogen peroxide will safely bleach teeth white. If caught early enough, gargling with hydrogen peroxide can sometimes wipe-out a sore throat infection. Unlike fluoridated toothpastes, it can even be swallowed without the necessity of a visit to a hospital. Ingestion of low doses is actually good for the body. The main side effect is a reduced cancer risk. The ideal peroxide is 3% strength or weaker of food grade hydrogen peroxide. Normal hydrogen peroxide contains chemical stabilizers and other additives, which may get absorbed into the body.
For the best teeth, real butter should be added to the diet. Butter can actually eliminate small cavities, and it provides fat-soluble vitamins that are hard to find elsewhere. Toothpastes that contain monocalcium phosphate are ideal, because they can help to remineralize damaged teeth. Avoid any toothpaste that contains sodium lauryl sulphate or sodium laureth sulphate. These industrial degreasers are terrible for the health. Fluoride should always be avoided too, and it is specifically known to darken teeth.

Vitamin C Regenerates and Detoxifies Your Hormones

This is excellent news.  One thing I like about health and nutrition news these days is that findings are becoming more and more specific. Hormone health is vitally important to a sense of well-being and vigor. So reading how Vitamin C regenerates your hormones is particularly good news.  It's not just good for fighting colds, so consume more of it during your week.

Sometimes called the 'sunshine vitamin' because it is found in high levels in citrus fruits, vitamin C has a uniquely regenerative role in hormone health and cancer prevention that has been overlooked for over twenty years!

Here is the science:

Published in 1993 in the journal Radiation Physics and Chemistry and titled, "Photo-induced regeneration of hormones by electron transfer processes: Potential biological and medical consequences," Austrian researchers explored the role that vitamin C plays in preventing the degradation of steroid hormones into toxic and cancer-promoting metabolites known as "hormone transients."  Their stated goal was "to investigate if hormone transients resulting by e.g. electron emission can be regenerated."

The molecular structure of progesterone, estrone (a form of estrogen) and testosterone is such that when exposed to differing biological and/or environmental conditions, e.g. UV light, pH, temperature, they lose electrons, becoming toxic and often carcinogenic metabolites that represent a burden on the body's eliminative capabilities. Vitamin C is a well-known electron donor, which is to say a substance that donates electrons to another compound (i.e. a 'reducing agent'). Vitamin C's ability to donate electrons can have an antioxidant effect as far as neutralizing free radicals, or as is the case with transient hormone metabolites, a structurally regenerative one.
Remarkably, vitamin C was capable of almost complete regeneration of estrone and quite significant regeneration of both progesterone (52.7%) and testosterone (58.6%).
These experimental results have profound implications if they prove to carry over to human physiology. For instance, vitamin C may offer an alternative (or at least adjuvant and/or 'drug sparing' effect) to hormone replacement therapy, which suffers from the problem of 'feeding the deficiency,' i.e. negative feedback loops operative within our endocrine system can result in the down-regulation of endogenous steroid hormone production when exogenous forms are supplied.

Vitamin C, of course, is exceptionally safe at high doses and has hundreds of proven health benefits (view our Vitamin C health benefit database), whereas conventional chemopreventive agents for cancer, e.g. Tamoxifen, and hormone replacement therapy using animal derived and/or synthetic hormone analogs, cause a wide range of adverse health effects, including at times increased mortality.

For additional related research you can read two previous on vitamin C's role in cancer treatment in intravenous form and vitamin C rich foods like pomegranate as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy.

"Vast Majority of People Who Are Contracting Measles Have Been Fully Vaccinated Against It . . . ." Dr. Donald W. Miller, Jr.

Before there was a vaccine for it, just about every person in America got measles. They would catch this highly communicable childhood disease usually between the age of 5 and 9. From 1900 to 1960, with improved sanitation, clean water, and better nutrition fostered by rapid delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables along with affordable refrigerators, the mortality rate from measles in the U.S. dropped more than 95 percent.
. . .
Health officials, both in the U.S. and UK, blame unvaccinated people and the “anti-vaxxers” for these outbreaks. Assisted by a compliant media, they downplay the fact that the vast majority of people who are contracting measles have been fully vaccinated against it—more than 95% in some outbreaks.

One benefit of having measles is that a person so infected will then have lifelong, permanent immunity to it. Mothers transfer antibodies against measles to their babies, which protect them from this disease during their early critical months of life. The MMR shot, however, does not provide lifelong immunity to measles. It only lasts several years, and successively less effective booster shots are required.

There is a second, major benefit of measles that health authorities overlook. Measles helps a child’s immune system grow strong and mature.

Short-lived vaccine immunity renders people under age 55-60 vulnerable to contracting measles at a bad age, with infants less than 1 year old and adults over 20 years old at greatest risk. The day may once again come when parents, while avoiding the vaccine, hold measles parties for their children in the age window of 5 to 9 years (like some families now do in Germany) so they can have measles at the safest time in their lives, thereby achieving the benefits of a strengthened immune system and lifelong natural immunity from this disease.

"toxins we eat are stored in the liver."
One of my favorite foods over the last 8 years has been chicken liver and onions.  I boil the chicken livers, then fry them in butter, then add sliced onions.  A friend suggested adding mushrooms to the mix, and I did; the dish was excellent.  I don't eat livers often; maybe once every two weeks at most.  I liked the B vitamin effect, or at least I thought it was a B vitamin effect.
But one thing that always bothered me, as well as others within nose distance, was the smell of livers. The truth is they stink.  Why would livers smell and steaks don't?
It's because the liver is the organ that accumulates and traps toxins from the body.  The livers that people eat are the livers that have been inside a chicken or cow its whole life, accumulating toxins the whole time.  And farm-fed animals that get a hyped-up feed make the animal and its organs even less health for people.  Consider this the next time you're thinking about liver and onions.  This is not an easy decision for me, since not only do I enjoy the taste of the different liver pates, which always feel like elegant dining thanks to convincing packaging, but I like the Vitamin A that you get with liver.  So you will get vitamins but at what cost?

C. Thomas Corriher over at Healthwyze has an excellent article on this very topic.  He writes . . .
Consumption of liver has been linked with increased rates of hepatitis E in the United States. Although, the condition is rarely reported. Liver consumption has also been repeatedly linked with clenbuterol poisoning in Spain, China, and Portugal. Clenbuterol poisoning consists of muscle tremors, headaches and nervousness. The condition can last for days, until the toxin is isolated by (and contained inside) the liver, where it will remain for the rest of a person's life, and impair his health forever after. Clenbuterol is administered illegally to livestock because of its ability to keep meat fresh for unnatural lengths of time. It is another reason to avoid products from the main culprit, China.

People who eat liver need to weigh the benefits of some extra minerals against the risk of permanent poisoning; both from heavy metals and other poisons that the cow has been in contact with. The poisons can come from processed feeds, antibiotics, vaccine ingredients, pesticide over-spray, tainted water, and the synthetic hormones that are frequently given to farm animals. While organic liver is theoretically healthier than its extremely toxic counterpart, we strongly recommend against taking unnecessary risks.

. . . end of Corriher's remarks.

UPDATE
Nurse friend of mine says that "Personally, organ meats can be some of the healthier meats.  Yes, the liver can be toxic if the animal was fed toxic treats.  I think the risk is worth taking.  There are no risk-free dietary choices, like it or not.  400 to 600 units or more of Vitamin E a day is a good thing.  Too much can, and will, kill you."
