Thank you to J. Michael Waller.
The Greenland question reflects the Americans' fear of a possible “civilizational extinction of Europe” through migration, which they have addressed in their national security strategy.
peace negotiations with Ukraine have shown the USA that one can no longer talk to Europe. Why? The decisive point there: with Islamist-influenced governments, as Michel Houellebecq already described years ago, it will hardly be possible to form a NATO coalition that would successfully ensure the Americans don’t run into problems with Russians and Chinese at the North Pole.

1. The NATO has become obsolete due to the loss of shared substance.
2. The Europeans have only themselves to blame for all of this. The ECJ, for example, classifies ALL Afghan women as in need of protection. That alone would be 20 million women. We have people like Baerbock & Co. to thank for this nonsense.
3. The peace negotiations with Ukraine have shown the USA that one can no longer talk to Europe. Why? That too is stated in the security strategy: Because the politics of our continent has become trapped in ideological illusions: climate, energy transition, combustion-engine ban, migration, deindustrialization, dismantling of freedom of speech, “our” democracy, etc.
