Grass-Fed Beef Farms, California

Thought I should revise my list of farmers.

Grassfed farms

Good Ranchers is sourced from multiple sources across the U.S., so their beef is American-grown as opposed to being grown in China or other countries. Other countries are not always worse, in large part to the glyphosate content.  The U.S. and Canada have the worst glyphosate profile in their foods than the rest of the world possibly. 

Their beef is grass-fed, grain-finished.

Our meats are sourced exclusively from local farms and ranches in the great US of A. 🇺🇸 We are proud to be 100% American, and our entire process—from raising to delivering—takes place here in the US. 

Barstow Country is located in Apple Valley, CA, and looks like they specialize in smoked meats.

Mariposa Ranch is in central California in the town of Mariposa, CA.

This site provides a list of many in California, the most are up in Northern California.

Rankin Ranch is located in Kern County.

One World Meat Company is located in Orange County, so if you live in LA County, this might be closer.  Their beef is sourced from the Imperial County city of Brawley, CA.  This farm claims to serve beef menu items at Michelin-rated restaurants, "Our brands are served in Michelin-rated restaurants and preferred by chefs throughout the world."  And what does that mean?  For 3-star Michelin rating, it means this:

A Michelin star is the ultimate hallmark of culinary excellence. Michelin stars are awarded to restaurants judged to be of a particularly high standard. Eateries that make the grade can be awarded one, two, or three stars, and the accolade is much-coveted by chefs around the world.
