SAMA HOOLE: So when the brochure says a seed oil is heart healthy and the trans fat is gone and the formula is complete, ask the only question the last century has ever answered the same way. What is in the drawer?

In every case the company knew first. By decades. In writing. 1924: the makers of leaded petrol lose five workers to lead madness in one plant. Their own scientist calls the product a gift of God. Lead stays in the tank until 2000, and takes a measured slice of IQ off every child born in the century. 1930s: the asbestos company's own doctors find the lung disease and the company settles the lawsuits quietly, with silence clauses, for 40 years. 1953: the tobacco companies meet in New York, read their own research, and set up an institute to manufacture doubt about it. It runs for 44 years. 1961: the chemical company finds its non-stick coating in the blood of its workers and the livers of its rats. It tells no one for 40 years. It is now in the blood of every person on earth. 1965: the sugar industry pays three Harvard men to blame fat. The paper runs in the top journal. The payment is found in a box in 2016. 1966: the maker of PCBs finds dead fish downstream of its plant and writes an internal memo recommending the company say nothing. It is 1977 before they are banned. 1990s: the makers of the opioid know the addiction rate from their own files and tell doctors it is under 1%. 2000s: the makers of a diabetes drug see the heart attacks in their own data and keep selling. 2010 before it is pulled. The pattern is not a secret conspiracy. It is a filing cabinet. The company knew, the knowledge sat in a drawer, and the consensus outside the building was built on the brochure. So when the brochure says a seed oil is heart healthy and the trans fat is gone and the formula is complete, ask the only question the last century has ever answered the same way.

What is in the drawer.

NICK PLUMB: This is Korbin Colthorp. He’s the ONLY doctor in Western Michigan University’s 28-person Family Medicine–Kalamazoo residency who attended medical school in the United States. The other 27 went to medical school abroad.

SAMA HOOLE: Your tongue has 25 receptors for bitter. Twenty-five. One for every family of plant poison your ancestors learned to spit out, because bitter is the taste of a leaf defending itself.

Your tongue has a receptor for meat. It detects glutamate and inosinate, the taste of a steak, a broth and an aged cheese, and it rewards you for finding them. Your tongue has a receptor for fat. Found in 2015, named oleogustus, and it fires on dripping, marrow and cream. Your tongue has one receptor for sweet. It was built for ripe fruit and honey, which arrived for a few weeks a year. Your tongue has 25 receptors for bitter. Twenty-five. One for every family of plant poison your ancestors learned to spit out, because bitter is the taste of a leaf defending itself. Every child on earth rejects greens without being taught. That is the 25 receptors working exactly as built. The adult learns to override them. It takes years, salt, oil and a sauce, and the child is told it is being difficult. One receptor for meat, one for fat, 25 alarms for plants, and the whole nation has been trained to eat past the alarms and feel guilty about the two that say yes.

Your tongue filed broccoli under poison before you had a word for either.

SAMA HOOLE: A lion does not graze. It feasts, and you were issued the same stomach.

Your ancestors came home empty-handed more days than not. Three days of nothing, then a kill the size of a car, and everything in you was built around that rhythm. Your stomach stretches to four times its size, to take on a share of a carcass in one sitting, because the meat would not keep and the next one was not promised. Your gallbladder sits loaded for days, waiting to dump bile onto a sudden mountain of fat. No leaf-eater needs one. Your gut hands fat and protein a hormone that says enough, and the eating stops on its own. Sugar never got that hormone, because there was never a glut of it to stop. You have one store, and it stores fat. A day's worth of sugar, no store for protein, and a body that can lay down a lean month's fuel in a single feast. Your liver makes every gram of glucose you need out of the meat, because there was never a bag of rice on the savannah and there is still no essential carbohydrate. Your brain, when the kill is gone and the days run empty, switches to ketones made from your own fat, and runs clearer on them than it ever did on bread. Your growth hormone surges through the fast and holds your muscle, because a hunter who wasted in a lean week never hunted again. Your hunger comes as a wave, sends you out, and passes. It was never meant to nag you to a cupboard every ninety minutes. You share every bit of that kit with the lion, who eats 30 kilos at a kill and sleeps for two days, and the wolf, who eats a fifth of his own weight and walks away from the rest. Then nothing, until the next one. The stretch, the store, the switch, the sleep after. All of it predator's equipment, and all of it in you. You were built to gorge on fat, go without, and gorge again, and the going without was never the problem. It was the design. So eat like it. A pound of fatty meat, a slab of butter on it, once or twice a day, until you cannot face another bite, and then nothing until you are properly hungry again.

Not a handful of almonds at eleven and a bowl of leaves at one. A lion does not graze. It feasts, and you were issued the same stomach.

Dialectic

The dialectic isn't an aspect of Marxism, it is the aspect of Marxism.

The Platonic Nightmare, Joseph Pieper, who explained in Abuse of Language, Abuse of Power that first you have to take control of the language and abuse language, and it's through that that you abuse power.  And he called it the Platonic Nightmare in a way that everybody else thanks that's interesting and I'm not talking about being interesting I'm talking about what he called the platonic nightmare it is the basis on which everything you see drives what you're saying so much so that I'm really going to be taking quotes from leading marxists and show that they specifically point to events that happened in these dialogues and you can read these platonic dialogues and say I don't agree with that interpretation and I won't get into whether those interpretations are correct or not because really all I have to prove is that the people we are up against are all focus on these dialogues and they have a common understanding of what they mean so even if they're wrong in some larger sense they're still correct in the sense that they all have a common sight picture and for people who know what I did when I did it Islamic law in the Pentagon until I was pushed out because some Brotherhood Associates didn't want me there is I was able to show that no matter whether you were a quote moderate Muslim whether you were a Jihadi in the field or whether you were somewhere in between everything they would say was based on what it meant by a book by Sayyid Qutb, 1906-1966, who wrote the book Milestones, 1964,  and so all you had to do was listen to what they said by the Quran quotes that interpreted them
