YURI BEZMENOV: Demoralization is the first stage of ideological subversion, and it involves the systematic undermining of a society’s moral and ethical foundations.

Wikipedia explains,

Tomas David Schuman, Yuri's alias, was a Soviet journalist for Novosti Press Agency (APN). In 1970, as a member of the Soviet mission in New Delhi, India, Bezmenov defected to the West and was re-settled in Canada pursuant to an arrangement between US and Canadian security agencies

Stage 1: Demoralization

Demoralization is the first stage of ideological subversion, and it involves the systematic undermining of a society’s moral and ethical foundations. Bezmenov explained that this process typically takes 15–20 years, roughly the time needed to educate one generation. During this stage, foreign agents seek to infiltrate educational institutions, media, and cultural platforms to influence the minds of young people. The goal is to instill a sense of disillusionment, moral relativism, and a rejection of traditional values.

In the demoralization phase, individuals are conditioned to question their own cultural identity, history, and societal norms. The emphasis is on creating a sense of instability and disorientation within the target population. This sets the stage for the subsequent phases of ideological subversion.

YURI BEZMENOV, 1984: that despite the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interests of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.

Ideological subversion is is the process which is legitimate, overt, and open. You can see it with your own eyes.  What it basically means is to change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interests of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.  It's a great brainwashing process most of it is done by Americans to Americans, thanks to lack of moral standards.  As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore.  A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information.  The facts tell nothing to him.  Even if I shower him with information with authentic proof with documents with pictures.  Even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him concentration camp, he will refuse to believe it until he is going to receive a kick in his fat bottom.  When a military boot crashes his balls, then he will understand but not before that.  That's the tragic of the situation of demoralization.

YURI BEZMENOV: The highest art of warfare is not to fight at all but to subvert anything of value in your enemy's country, be it moral traditions, religion, . . .

The highest art of warfare is not to fight at all but to subvert anything of value in your enemy's country, be it moral traditions, religion, respect for your authority and leaders, cultural traditions, or anything.  Put white against black, old against young, wealth against poor, and so on.  It doesn't matter, as long as it disturbs society, as long as it cuts the moral fiber of a nation, it's good.  And then you just take this country when everything is subverted, when the country is disoriented and confused when it is demoralized and destabilized . . .

I mean it's not like the LBGTQ doesn't already have a score of holidays to celebrate their lifestyles.

1984, Yuri Bezmenov (Full Interview) with G. Edward Griffin.

Ideological subversion is the slow process that we call either ideological subversion or active measures, Aktivnye meropriyatiya in the language of the KGB or psychological warfare.  What it basically means is to change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite . . . the abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community in their country.  It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and it's divided in 4 basic stages, the first one being demoralization.  It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation why that many years?  Because this is the minimum number of years which requires to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy exposed to the ideology of the enemy, in other words, Marxism Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least three generations of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism, American patriotism.
