MARTIN ARMSTRONG: He has shortened the 50-day period to 10, and he will impose massive tariffs on Russia, which is exactly what FDR did to Japan. That began World War II.

Thank you to Martin Armstrong @ Armstrong Economics for "Neocons Playing Trump for a Fool," July 28, 2025.

Trump has been bamboozled by the Neocons. He has shortened the 50-day period to 10, and he will impose massive tariffs on Russia, which is exactly what FDR did to Japan. That began World War II. Trump needs to get his head out of his ass. I thought he was smarter than this. He knows there is no answer. This will only promote war, and he has been played as the fool by the Neocons all over again. He might as well bring in John Bolton as VP now.

With Europe gearing up for war and drafting everyone, you really expect Putin to fall to his knees. If he wants peace, he should honor the Minsk Agreement, which was negotiated in good faith. Before all of this started, Putin even told Zelensky the Minsk Agreement was important to honor. I would not bend the knee to Trump if I were Putin. The West has made a fool of him with the last peace agreement.

Video is here.  https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Putin-Explains-Minsk-to-Zelensky.mp4?_=1.

Then there was another peace agreement that Putin agreed to. Boris Johnson flew to Kiev to dictate to Zelensky that he was not allowed to sign that one. Trump has been played for a fool. I guess not even he can beat Socrates. Trump is taking us into World War III, even if he thinks he is negotiating.

BTW, if there is a war in Europe, the EU will lose.

WHITNEY WEBB: it's just a way of sort of masking the people that are actually running stuff.

Whitney Webb describes how Trump's dept. heads, including RFK Jr., Pete Hegseth, Kash Patel, et al. are just "willing figureheads." Those departments, Webb notes, are actually being run by the likes of Deputy SecDef Stephen Feinberg & Deputy HHS Sec Jim O'Neill. This clip of Webb (@_whitneywebb), author of One Nation Under Blackmail and contributing editor of unlimitedhangout(.)com, is taken from an interview with Briahna Joy Gray (@briebriejoy) posted to the Bad Faith (@BadFaithP

PARTIAL TRANSCRIPT
"You know, my opinion generally is that some figures in the Trump administration were kind of chosen as a PR move and that they're not actually in charge of what they're nominally in charge of. "So, like Pete Hegseth, head of the Pentagon, he's kind of a Fox and Friends, you know, he's a TV show host. And the. The Deputy Director of the Pentagon, Steve Feinberg of Cerberus Capital, is most likely the person actually running the Pentagon, not Hegseth, in my opinion. "And I think that's true also for, RFK Junior in charge of HHS. I don't really think he's running. He's just kind of this figure that connected with Trump's base, particularly during the COVID era, and made them think reforms would come. And those reforms haven't really come, but he's kind of there to give the impression that things have changed. But the person behind him, the deputy secretary, is Jim o'Neill, who's a career affiliate of Peter Thiel who's also the power behind J.D. Vance and, you know, the man that made Palantir what it is. "And so, you know, I think it's just a way of sort of masking the people that are actually running stuff. And I think that's probably true, too, of Kash Patel and Don Dan Bongino, who were basically out there. You know, they were making the rounds on podcasts and were making these connections and building trust and relationships with the public in Trump's base. But it seems like they're not actually, running anything, in my opinion. They're kind of figureheads in a way, and they're willing figureheads. I would say."
