My words here: Each viral component has to be grown separately on a culture medium of immortal cells (which is specified in detail in the USA Federal Register). Put crudely you are growing virus on a live culture medium similar to using live human and animal proteins and cells, which you feed, to keep them alive.
You cook that in huge vats at specified temperatures for a specified duration. This live cell “respiration”, involves nutrient intake and waste excrement, commonly called “degradation products”. To a degree, with cell cultures, some of the excrement rises to the surface as visible scum and can be skimmed off.
However, not all degradation products can be removed, which is why it’s mentioned in the document. You are growing LIVE viruses which are being weakened but you don’t want to kill them. You can filter off anything larger than the virus at issue, but anything smaller cannot be removed, neither can it be denatured or killed, because to do so would adversely affect the live virions.
This means that it is impossible to say that ingredients in vaccines are well characterised when the vaccine manufacturer admits that degradation products in the MMR are neither identified, nor quantified. It is also logical to say that there is nothing in the MMR vaccine which could be carcinogenic.
