Todd Beamer was the Flight 93 passenger who reportedly said to “Let's roll!” before passengers allegedly stormed the cockpit to regain control of the aircraft.

Less known is the fact that at around 9:45am, he is said to have told GTE Operator Lisa Jefferson that “the airplane was about to be hijacked” by three individuals who “were preparing to take control of the flight.” Jefferson said she spoke with Beamer for seven minutes “before” two of the hijackers entered the cockpit. The problem is, according to the official account, the cockpit of Flight 93 stopped responding to messages from air traffic controllers at about 9:28am. The 9/11 Commission and NTSB inferred that the cockpit was overtaken around this time, and the plane allegedly made its nearly 180° turn shortly after. Beamer is not the only Flight 93 passenger or crew member to have allegedly reported the hijacking taking place much later than the official time. Flight attendant Sandra Bradshaw is also said to have told her husband that at 9:50am hijackers had not yet entered the cockpit. Passenger Jeremy Glick, meanwhile, is said to have told his wife that hijackers entered the cockpit only after his call started at 9:40am. So why did three of the callers report that the plane was taken over much later than it was according to the 9/11 Commission and the NTSB?
