I don't know how many times I've joked with friends about all the different General Mills cereals we ate as a kid. Though I've never tried crack cocaine or cocaine, their cereals were quite addictive. And the fact that we were hooked via the television with toys inside. Jeez, we were just too gullible.

Imagine: cultures without toothbrushes, fluoridated toothpaste, dental floss, dentists, or dental plans, whose notion of dental hygiene was using a twig or blade of grass to pry loose a fragment of wildebeest from between their teeth, lived their lives, often to old age, if they had survived early childhood with full mouths of teeth, aligned and without decay, gingivitis, or abscesses.
It doesn't look good for any of the grains--corn, wheat, oat, barley, etc. These translate into pizza, tacos, burgers, burritos, pancakes, cakes, croissants, cookies, biscuits, etcetera. It requires discipline, but if you're in need of much-needed health restitution, this would be the first place diet-wise that I would fix. Eliminate the grains. Yes, all of them. Go with red meat, and a few fruits and vegetables.
