At the time, I mentioned that the $600 price hadn’t changed in at least six years, and it’s now more than two year[s] later and the price is still $600 for the cost of the scan and the cost to have your scan read by expert radiologists at the Cleveland Clinic. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting today that Smart Choice MRI has raised $6.5 million from investors [my emphasis] and is set to open four imaging centers in the Chicago market and will be the company’s first expansion outside Wisconsin.
