J. MICHAEL WALLER on DIRECTOR of NCC, JOE KENT: One can legitimately resign over policy differences without providing aid and comfort to the enemy.

J. MICHAEL WALLER: The Chinese Communist Party, by far, depends on the Strait of Hormuz for its crude oil imports. Why should our military defend tankers bound for China?

Trump has deported HUNDREDS OF CRIMINALS to the UK.

Here are the reports.

TEDDY ROOSEVELT: If the peoples of Europe had not possessed a military equality with, and gradually a growing superiority over, the Mohammedans who invaded Europe, Europe would at this moment be Mohammedan and the Christian religion would be exterminated.

An American President on the importance of courage and strength in defending civilization: “Christianity is not the creed of Asia and Africa at this moment solely because the seventh-century Christians of Asia and Africa had trained themselves not to fight, whereas the Moslems were trained to fight. Christianity was saved in Europe solely because the peoples of Europe fought. If the peoples of Europe had not possessed a military equality with, and gradually a growing superiority over, the Mohammedans who invaded Europe, Europe would at this moment be Mohammedan and the Christian religion would be exterminated. Wherever the Mohammedans have had complete sway, wherever the Christians have been unable to resist them by the sword, Christianity has ultimately disappeared. From the hammer of Charles Martel, 688-741, to the sword of Sobieski, 1629-1696, Christianity owed its safety in Europe to the fact that it was able to show that it could and would fight as well as the Mohammedan aggressor. The civilization of Europe, America, and Australia exists today at all only because of the victories of civilized man over the enemies of civilization.” — Teddy Roosevelt

NEW IRISH PRESIDENT CONNOLLY: remove[s] "Saint" from Saint Patrick, and addresses [the Irish] as "global citizen" instead of Irish, Irishmen, or Irish citizens.

To the Irish, your new President Connolly has removed "Saint" from Saint Patrick, and also addresses you as "global citizen" instead of Irish, Irishmen, or Irish citizens.  What is she afraid of?

from Ireland's new President, Catherine Connolly

The story of Patrick's life serves as a reminder of the resilience and courage of migrants, the invaluable contributions that they have made and continue to make to the countries they now call home, sometimes even in the face of great sometimes even in the face of great adversity.  Patrick's story speaks not only to the Ireland of the 5th Century but to the millions still subjected to trafficking, forced labor, and displacement today.  As we recall the life of Patrick, we invoke his spirit and acknowledge our shared responsibilities as Global Citizens.  We stand in solidarity with those who find themselves in vulnerable and dangerous circumstances.  Patrick's story invites us to respond with hospitality and kindness to those suffering the consequences of War and displacement, those fleeing their countries because of persecution or violence.
