SAMA HOOLE: Your body produces its own antioxidants (glutathione, superoxide dismutase, catalase) far more powerful than anything in plants.

"You need antioxidants from plants to fight free radicals!"

Here's what they don't tell you: Your body produces its own antioxidants (glutathione, superoxide dismutase, catalase) far more powerful than anything in plants. Eating beef provides: - Building blocks for your body's antioxidant systems. - Carnosine (powerful antioxidant only in meat). - Anserine (only in meat). - Taurine (only in animals). Plant antioxidants are: - Poorly absorbed. - Often bound to antinutrients. - Less bioavailable. - Unnecessary when you remove the thing creating oxidative stress. What creates oxidative stress? - Seed oils (polyunsaturated fats oxidize easily). - Sugar (glycation and oxidation). - Processed foods. - Chronic inflammation. Carnivore diet eliminates all of these. Your body's natural antioxidant systems handle the rest.

SAMA HOOLE: The Vikings understood: diet determines dominance. You cannot build conquerors on peasant food.

Vikings entering battle would consume massive amounts of meat, blood, and fermented dairy hours before combat. The word "berserk" possibly comes from "bear-shirt" - warriors who consumed bear meat before battle believing it gave them the bear's strength and fury. Superstition? Maybe. But they weren't eating oats and hoping for the best. Their thralls? Fed gruel. Fish scraps. Whatever kept them functional enough to row the ships. The Vikings understood: diet determines dominance. You cannot build conquerors on peasant food. They raided across Europe for 300 years fueled by animal products while those they conquered ate grain and wondered why they kept losing. Now we're told animal products are dangerous, inflammatory, disease-causing.

Convenient. An inflamed, disease-ridden population doesn't raid. It complies.

SAMA HOOLE: You've been metabolically broken for 30 years eating seed oils and sugar, destroying your mitochondria meal by meal, but you expected a month of meat to undo three decades of damage?

SAMA HOOLE: After the war, American occupation brought food scarcity. They survived on sweet potatoes because that's what was available. This wasn't a choice. It was famine rations. Post-war records show Okinawans had the shortest lifespans in Japan during this period. They were malnourished.
