In 2020, federal government gave airlines $1 billion dollars each to keep flying EMPTY airplanes around to make it look like they were full and at peak capacity

from Christian Britschlgi @ Reason Magazine,

When Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, it included $50 billion evenly divided into loans and grants for passenger air carriers. The law also empowered the Secretary of Transportation to require airlines to continue flying to locations they were servicing before March 1, 2020.

Jan 6 defendant Joe Biggs was *acquitted* of the only violent crimes he was accused of committing (see below) but because DOJ odiously decided to resurrect a "sedition" statute from 1861, he's going to prison for 17 years as a non-violent offender. (DOJ wanted *33* years.)

Gentleman I’m golfing with at a $2bn public company says they are in the process of shedding their CRE space - basically ‘giving it away’.

I will never quit eating meat.

the great lawyers who were courageous enough to go against the narrative. Bravo @BoydenGrayAssoc 🙌. Attorneys Jared Kelson and Trent McCotter for this win…
