STEPHEN COUGHLIN: 18 U.S.C. § 111 makes it a federal crime to forcibly assault, resist, oppose, impede, intimidate, or interfere with designated federal officers or employees while they are performing official duties.

@linuxhippie. Clearly, the Philly DA Larry forgot his ConLaw class on the Federal Pre-emption clause of the Constitution.
He also seems to have forgotten that Title 18 USC Section 111 makes it a felony for him to interfere with a federal officer in the execution of his office. Question? Has the FBI or DHS ALSO forgotten Section 111? Because, from where many stand in the cheap seats, the moment a state or local actor interferes with a federal officer in the conduct of his duties, those persons should be arrested, as should any and all individuals ordering that activity. And yes, it's really as simple, and as simply clear, as that. From the AI distillation of Section 111:
18 U.S.C. § 111 makes it a federal crime to forcibly assault, resist, oppose, impede, intimidate, or interfere with designated federal officers or employees while they are performing official duties. Penalties range from 1 year (simple assault) up to 20 years (use of a deadly weapon or infliction of bodily injury.

ARTURO MCFIELDS YESCAS: During the 10th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, organized by Colombia, Xi Jinping had hoped to deliver a virtual address to 33 heads of state from the Americas. But the event managed to attract only three Latin American presidents.
Just a few days ago, China suffered yet another major political defeat. During the tenth Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, organized by Colombia, Xi Jinping had hoped to deliver a virtual address to 33 heads of state from the Americas. But the event managed to attract only three Latin American presidents. This was a significant embarrassment, given that this organization is China’s version of the U.S.-created Organization of American States.
