Exiting from the Cult

Imagine exiting the cult from simply learning that the questions you've been asking are yours and yours alone, questions that no one else has asked, or that you've heard of before, and people look at you as crazy, violently opposed to your independent thought, to your curiosity, or you thinking for yourself.  Imagine exiting the cult and being attacked by an army of the cult's legions.

The Truman Show, 1998.  There was another great movie that year, 1998, named Enemy of the State, starring Gene Hackman and Will Smith.

And these two have paid a price since, I think.  The interview aired in 2007.

Jenny McCarthy.  I don't know.  Maybe they didn't pay that big of a price, which can only mean that those who told them to do the interview had their back to some degree.  She married Donnie Wahlberg in 2014. 

Jim Carrey.  McCarthy and Carrey dated from 2006 to 2010.
