The Miracle of Vitamin C: It Treats Serious Cases of Swine Flu

Here is video proof positive of how Vitamin C saved Auckland, New Zealand, dairy farmer, Alan Smith's life.  And here is the legal review of how the family's wishes were denied because the hospital violated the patient's code.  The man developed a bad case of pneumonia, known as "White-out Pneumonia." The man's lungs were so full of infected fluids that he was unable to take in any air, so the doctors at the hospital put him on a respirator.  His doctors called it "lung failure."
This is a terrific interview of Dr. Ronald Hunninghake on the use of intravenous Vitamin C as a cancer therapy.
Bill Sardi argues convincingly that the use of aspirin depletes Vitamin C stores in the body.

So the question is what form of Vitamin C does one take and how much?

There are a few choices:
1)  Ascorbic Acid, which works just fine in killing viruses and bacteria.
2)  Fruits and vegetables with Vitamin C, but you may need more given a certain condition.  For example, I don't know if Mr. Alan Smith would have recovered from his pneumonia had he eaten oranges with their high sugar content.  Would the sugar of the oranges exacerbated his pnuemonia, the fluid in his lungs, and diminished the air pocket capability?  I doubt it.  I think that an orange would have helped.  But remember, Alan Smith received 25grams of intravenous Vitamin C.  That's a lot of Vitamin C; that is an emergency amount.
3)  Capsules of Buffered Vitamin C with a full panel of bioflavonoids.
4)  Highly-absorbably form of Vitamin C, called Lipo-Spheric Vitamin C, bypasses the gastric juices of your stomach and goes directly into your blood stream through the vessels in your mouth.

I like ascorbic acid.

But for critically-ill patients, IV Vitamin C is essential.  Check this out:
These three studies showed reduced mortality and reduced time on ventilators for septic and critically ill  patients in the ICU setting.  In addition, numerous other studies have measured blood vitamin C levels in critically ill patients in the hospital showing Vitamin C is typically depleted with levels below 25 % of healthy individuals.(6-11)  As Dr Levy points out in Part Four of the Series (see below), there are thousands of studies over 70 years in the medical literature showing effectiveness, and safety of Vitamin C for viral illness.  Dr Levy’s book, Curing the Incurable: Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins, 3rd Editionhttp://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=jeffreydachmd-20&l=as2&o=1&a=0977952029 cites 1200 such articles supporting the use of Vitamin C.
Last but not least, I found this list of conditions that Vitamin C cures.  That's right--cures.  Check it out.

VITAMIN C HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CURE OVER 30 MAJOR DISEASES FOR OVER 50 YEARS.  Click here to find out which ones.
