Westminster Abbey, the most sacred site in the Anglican Church.

Greg Gutfeld just DESTROYED Brian Stelter for saying Iryna Zarutska's kiIIer was "mentally ill"

I don't know what drives the evil to murder another human being, but Gutfeld does hit on a few important observations.  One, the petite gal felt comfortable in a black man's presence.  But it registered as an offense with him.  But his point that the assailant was not "mentally ill" is a great one.  He's saying that rational though on the part of the assailant is proof that the murderer is not "mentally ill," but quite rational.  True, but the will and the mind might be more complex than just relying on rational thought when it comes to action to which we are all subject to.

Unfortunately, Gutfield's argument won't get much traction since it's Big Pharma that makes sure that as many Americans as possible is on psychotropic drugs.  "Mental ill" is an entire industry and its unstoppable.

Iryna was unaccompanied.  Mistake number 1.  She sits in front of a guy with tattoos and probably low language skills.  Mistake number 2.  The fact that she's way too comfortable in his orbit is an offense to a man who views white people as the ultimate oppressor.  Mistake number 3.  If he's on court-ordered prescription drugs, which it sounds like he is, it's most likely an antidepressant, which engender violent tendencies.  I mean the guy didn't wait long at all.

TOM LUONGO: And we thought the Nazis were eugenicists

MILLIE HARDIE: Your feelings drive your actions, and your actions become your identity. [I'd hope not. Shouldn't reflection, thinking, considering the trade-offs drive your actions?]

Her name is Millie Hardie, aka the Pocket Psychologist.

I'm a psychologist.  It took me 10 years to learn this, and I'm going to teach you in 60 seconds.  Your brain doesn't believe what's true.  It believes what you repeat. Your thoughts shape your feelings.  Your feelings drive your actions, and your actions become your identity.  Your brain is always rewiring, so who you are is changeable.  Say something often enough with enough emotion, and your brain starts to believe it.  That's why self-talk really matters.  It's not harmless.  It's extremely powerful.  It's like casting a spell your brain and your body can overhear.  The way you speak to yourself shapes how you feel about yourself, and your life will always reflect who you think you are.  Your brain doesn't know the difference between real and imagined. So when you visualize the confident, calm, capable version of you, you're literally rewiring your brain for it.  You don't own your thoughts.  They visit you.  You don't have to believe all of them.  You can't think your way out of a feeling, but you can feel your way into a new way of thinking. Emotions that don't get processed stay stored in your nervous system.  Your body always keeps a score.  Most of your behavior, it's automatic.  It's subconscious.  Your brain guesses what's next base on old experiences.  If you change the data, you can change the future.  10 years worth of learning.  One minute.  Your move next.
