UNRAVELING THE GENETIC CODE: BEYOND THE DNA MYSTERIES

Genes.  So supposedly, the way it works is you got this DNA and it's divided into segments, right?  The particular segments have start and stop codes, and they're called genes and they code for proteins.  The way they do that is they make mRNA in the nucleus.  It goes out of the nucleus and goes to the imaginary ribosomes in the cytoplasm and then it gets translated into proteins.  I already know there are problems with that because a) I know there's no such thing as a ribosome, b) I know there is no hole in the nucleus, and c) they also tell us that one gene codes for one protein.  And there are approximately 100 to 200,000 proteins and there are only 10 to 20,000 genes, which either means that geneticists are not good at arithmetic, or the whole thing is a bunch of hooey.

All four—Kristen Breitweiser, Patty Casazza, Lorie Van Auken, and Mindy Kleinberg—were residents of New Jersey, and helped lobby the U.S. government to carry out an investigation into the terrorist attacks, resulting in the formation of the 9/11 Commission and the subsequent report released by the Commission.
20:28. BOB MCILVAINE. Remember in the '90s, they spent $100 million dollars investigating Clinton's sexual exploits.  $100 million dollars! And they first allocated only $3 million to investigate the murder of 3,000 people.

The budget was eventually raised to $14 million, but the investigation was given less time than they had wanted, a year and a half.

32:40.  RAY MCGOVERN.  The whole mystique of intelligence is that you gather this very valuable information covertly.  Truth be told, about 80% of what one needs is available in open source materials, i.e., found online.  

35:35  Operation Bojinka, 1995, a terrorist plot to use/hijack U.S. planes to attack U.S. targets.  Thompson spotted a secondary feature of the New York Times report on the plot that only CNN International dug deeper.  Yousef's accomplice was detained and revealed the plot
He will board any American commercial aircraft, control its cockpit, and dive it at the CIA headquarters.  Other buildings targeted, the Pentagon and the World Trade Center.  FBI did check the four flight schools named there, but found no evidence of any other planned terror attacks
