CFPB [Consumer Financial Protection Bureaus, 2011] exposed as illegal agency after DOJ determines it has zero lawful funding. The Trump Administration announced the CFPB will shut down because the Federal Reserve has no profits from which to fund it, making continued withdrawals unlawful under 12 USC 5497. The Bureau was designed to evade Congress and the president, operating as a rogue regulator that debanked political enemies and funneled penalties to activist groups. Supreme Court rulings in Seila Law and Loper Bright cemented the CFPB's fragility. --Amuse
This is where are priorities lie, not Epstein or protecting drug runners in international waters.
This is real change in favor of the middle class to get access to credit, free the banks from DEI, the Climate Grift, and Davos. The CFPB plus NGOs and the IC maintained the modern deep state more than anything else. --Tom Luongo
Now folks, THIS is MAGA. So very important and so beyond the stupidity of the current headlines. https://t.co/3UeXEWNopP

DOGE: DOJ confirmed the CFPB has no legal funding stream. Trump is shutting down the unconstitutional Obama era agency that acted as a fourth branch of government. Vought says enough is enough. Created in the panic of 2008, the CFPB was built to bypass Congress’s power of the purse and shield itself from presidential oversight. DOJ now says the Fed has no earnings to fund it and never should have. Acting Director Russell Vought requested zero dollars earlier this year, saying the Bureau had enough cash on hand to wind itself down. Critics like Elizabeth Warren call this political, but it is the Constitution doing the talking. When an agency cannot legally pay its bills, it cannot regulate anyone.
Exactly.. but please folks keep lapping up the slop from @repthomasmassie Off-Brand @RandPaul and @barnes_law. This is where are priorities lie, not Epstein or protecting drug runners in international waters.
