States lack the Constitutional power to exclude a Presidential candidate from ballot unless the candidate admits they are not over 35, or a natural born citizen, or resident for 14 years. Even if someone contests those aspects, courts held states cannot exclude them from ballot. https://t.co/n5TBvboHoo

In 1920, Eugene Debs was in prison after conviction of the federal crime of sedition. He was also on the ballot across the country and won nearly a million votes. The only limits a state can impose on a candidate are: 35+, natural born citizen, resident in the US for 14 years.
