J. MICHAEL WALLER: What I'm saying here is that on the very day our people were dying in our cities and our cities were burning, the White House was already making deals with the Muslim Brotherhood.

As the country sat in shock over the morning's al Qaeda attacks and terrible loss of life, with recovery teams seeking any trace of survivors, and with the White House on lockdown, White House staffers Tim Goeglein and Suhail Khan held an impromptu substitute meeting by moving it a few blocks away to Grover Norquist's conference room.

One can blame the Clintons or Obama, but the fact remains that Clinton refused to seek repeal of that anti-terrorist law, which is why the Muslim Brotherhood and its allies went for Dubya in the 2000 election.

This is where the mainstreaming of the Muslim Brotherhood and its fronts into American society truly began. 25 years ago today.

Norquist credited the Tampa Bay Islamic Center - run by Sami Al-Arian of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad - for supposedly turning out the votes that helped Bush defeat Al Gore in Florida that year. Al-Arian, whom we saw enter Norquist's office at one point, was later tried and convicted of terrorism-related charges, served some prison time, and was deported.  --J. Michael Waller

When I got there late in the morning, there was this crowd of Muslims from around the country dressed in traditional clothes from whatever country they came from.  They all looked really nice, you know cultural event, there were children, and it was all pretty nice looking, but it was organized by the Muslim Brotherhood.  And they had a meeting in the conference room right next to my office. Two White House staffers from the Bush 43 Administration, came to them because it turned out they were supposed to have had a meeting at that time, 3:00 p.m. on 9/11, to meet with President George W. Bush.  And the purpose of the meeting was he was going to announce his opposition to a law that allowed the FBI to monitor foreign nationals in our country who were suspected of being terrorists.  The Left called it the "secret evidence law."  Bill Clinton had come to office, promising to abolish the "secret evidence law" then he realized, well, wait a minute, we need this law to go after terrorists in our country.  George W. Bush, who was told he owed his hanging chads narrow victory in Florida to a mosque in Tampa, agreed to get this law abolished, and that was the meeting 3:00 p.m. September 11, 2001 when he was supposed to have announced it and instead the White House went to "them" off campus.
