JOHN GUANDOLO: I would argue that that's why we lost wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. It's why the US government wrote constitutions for Iraq and Afghanistan making . . . Sharia was the law of the land

6:48.  The enemy we were fighting and I'll just start with Al-Qaeda at the time stated unequivocally that what they were doing they were waging Jihad in order to establish a caliphate under Sharia, Islamic law Allah's Divine Law and Sharia was the doctrine for which they were fighting and the doctor and it was the law that they seek to impose on the entire Earth. American war fighting Doctrine requires us to analyze an enemy based on who they say they are and why they're fighting.  And a look a and a look and intellectual and practical we're fighting review of normative Islamic law reveals that in fact Islamic law exists it's real law it has real consequences and in fact Al Qaeda and Isis and Hezbollah are actually following it and it's consistent with what is taught to 10-year-old Muslim children in US Islamic schools.  So that creates a different problem.  If we say that the problem has nothing to do with Islam then we're literally telling the entire War fighting apparatus of the US government the entire intelligence community don't look for the answer where the answer resides and I would argue that that's why we lost wars in Afghanistan Iraq and Syria it's why the US government wrote constitutions for Iraq and Afghanistan making sure Sharia was the law of the land because we had no and I believe we still don't have a good strategic understanding of what it is and its role.

So what I've been doing both inside and outside the government is training national, state, and local officials and citizens about, not just that, but the networks that exist because currently the Islamic movement and the communist movement are operating seamlessly at the local level across the United States.  And from their perspective, from the enemy's perspective, they're in the final stages and there seems to be nothing in their way to Victory, and I would concur with that assessment.

9:20.  We are looking at it from almost exclusively a kinetic perspective and yet the war they're waging against the United States is primarily being done overall in the information Warfare battle space.  But it's counterintelligence, espionage, subversion, economic Warfare, and the like, and we're not addressing it strategically or operationally at those levels and when we do we have a pretty underwhelming effect on the enemy.

10:10.  I encourage questions I encourage push back I've been doing this a long time and I find the discussion is much more fruitful if you don't hold back because if you do hold back and you get off the call and just Grumble about something that's not doing you or anybody else on this call any good from what Cindy and I understand about STARRS, I don't think that's going to be a problem.  I just wanted to say that out loud.

JOHN GUANDOLO: Why do we have a standing Navy [1784] in our Constitution? Why do we have letters of marque that authorized private citizens to fight on behalf of the United States? Because of the Muslims.

Why do we have a standing Navy [1784] in our Constitution? Why do we have letters of marque that authorized private citizens to fight on behalf of the United States?  Because of the Muslims.  Because they were seizing our ships on the seas and capturing our citizens.  John Adams [and Thomas Jefferson] met with the Ambassador from Tripoli to the United Kingdom [in 1786], to Great Britain, and they asked him, "Why are you taking, seizing U.S. ships, and why are you kidnapping American citizens and holding them for ransom for tribute?"

At the time [1800], the United States government was paying a quarter, a quarter, of our national income to Muslim nations for tribute. Well, the ambassador to Great Britain from Tripoli answered Adams and Jefferson [president, 1801-1809] as to why and they recorded his response in a letter to the Continental Congress which is today obviously kept in the Library of Congress, and Jefferson and Adams [recorded] this.

Islam was founded on the laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran that all nations who should not have acknowledged their Authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Muslim who should be slain in battle was sure to go to paradise.  --Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, Tripoli Ambassador to Britain Official Communique to U.S. Congress, 1786.

This is what this Muslim told Thomas Jefferson and John Adams which is interesting because this is exactly what Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State Hezbollah and Hamas and all Suburban book Haram and Islamic Jihad and all the others Jihadi groups tell us the reason that they're fighting today so our Founders had direct contact with this.  And what's interesting is that the first war America fought after the American Revolution was against who?  The Muslims.

I was just reading about the conversation and reporting back to the new Congress of John Adam’s and Thomas Jefferson on the topic of the Barbary pirates demands. Jefferson and John Adams went to call on Tripoli’s envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman. They asked him by what right he extorted money and took slaves in this way. As Jefferson later reported to Secretary of State John Jay, and to the Congress:
“The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.” Medieval as it is, this has a modern ring to it. Abdrahaman did not fail to add that a commission paid directly to Tripoli—and another paid to himself—would secure some temporary lenience. I believe on the evidence that it was at this moment that Jefferson decided to make war on the Muslim states of North Africa as soon as the opportunity presented itself. And, even if I am wrong, we can be sure that the dispatch of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps to the Barbary shore was the first and most important act of his presidency. It took several years of bombardment before the practice of kidnap and piracy and slavery was put down, but put down it was, Quranic justification or not. (Source: Jefferson’s Quran Slate 2007)

John Guandolo: Civilization Jihad in America – Are You Prepared?

John Guandolo, September 8, 2014.

15:06  The UN with the Vatican has said that in the last two years over 100k Christians a year have been killed [by Muslims?].  Okay, that's a big number, folks.  I haven't seen that on CNN or FOX.  These are some serious issues going on in the world.  We have nations being overthrown in the world.  We have people looking us right in the eye and saying, "Here's what we're doing.  Here's why we're doing it," and our leaders are saying "They don't mean that."

We won on the battlefield in Iraq and Afghanistan handily, and I'm not saying there weren't hard-fought battles.  We lost good men and women, but we won.  Did we come home with victory in those wars?  No, we did not.  No, we did not.  Our State Department wrote, "Constitutions in those countries that created Islamic states under Shariah, Islamic law," which is what you have now in Iraq and Afghanistan.  We did that.  Which cuts right in line with their global doctrine, civilization jihad by our hands.  We do.  They get us to do the big work for them.  That's what I'd like to unpack tonight in part.

16:40  Some of you may have seen this recently.  I decided not to go with the picture of the body of this young many with his head on his chest because some of you would find it to gruesome, and I would say, "too bad."  Okay, right now these guys are crossing continents in Africa, in Iraq, in Syria, in Libya, by the way in places like Mali, Niger, again, and other places.  Sawing people's heads off, cutting children's heads off and putting them on spikes, burying people alive, crucifying Christians, and the public just standing there watching.  That's what's going on.

17:35  What do we do with this brutality?  And by the way, why are the pulpits in America silent?  If America is worthy defending, why is it worth defending?  Now, America does not say that you have to be Christian, but the founding principles were based on Christianity.  That's a historical fact.
