The Amish cherish rural life, honesty, manual labor, humility, and “Gelassenheit,” which means submission to God’s will. They prioritize family time, nature, and face-to-face conversations whenever possible.
The media itself makes people sick with worry, anxious, and literally sick. I mean how many times can any single man or woman listen to Rachel Maddow or Don Lemon or that nails on a chalkboard, Brian Stelter? So the media has a lot to do with well-being. Drop it, and you feel better. That's what the Amish have accomplished.
