Area of circle = area of rectangle = base x height.
Height = Radius.
Base = 1/2 Circumference
Circumference = 2 x 3.14.
Base = 2 x 3.14/2. Base = 3.14.
3.14r x Radius = r2.
Area of Circle = Area of Rectangle = 3.14 x r2
