PYREX vs. pyrex: What Is the Difference? Buy PYREX, not pyrex

Corelle owns pyrex, and Corning owns PYREX.  PYREX glassware was made with borosilicate that allowed for fluctuations in temperatures without cracking.  Good to know.  Lower case pyrex is not.
