The above statue was from Baltimore.  Here is a successful restoration effort by the Catholic Church in New York. From Wikipedia,  

In 2020, it was torn down and thrown into nearby Fountain Lake by protesters in the wake of the murder of George Floyd. The statue was later restored and relocated in front of the Rockland Lodge Order of the Sons of Italy in Blauvelt, New York.

Get involved in restorations efforts near you. Not the celebration of Chinook Indians who ground corn at the river's edge.  Ooh, quite the accomplishment.  Nice work by the Sons of Italy.
