Diversity makes you a prisoner in your own country, estranges your family members who might be more "understanding" and "forgiving" toward the diverse invaders. 

Even if you have a knife for self-defense, so does someone else who may be more adept at using it.

Just make sure that your countermeasure to diversity is bigger than diversity's weapons.  While diversity carries a knife or screwdriver for assault, some elevated that to a machete.  Meanwhile, the police are all concentrated across town dealing with migrants empting the till and shelves of a local grocer.  Why didn't we think of this diversity years ago?
