SAMA HOOLE: Slave skeletons from Pompeii: Severe malnutrition, bone deformities, teeth ground down from grain, arthritis by 30.

Rome, 100 AD. Slaves receive daily rations calculated at minimum calories to maintain work capacity, maximum cost efficiency. The ration: Grain ground into paste called "puls." Sometimes fava beans. Occasionally onions. Olive oil in tiny quantities. Meat scraps when an animal is slaughtered, maybe twice yearly. The work: Building aqueducts, roads, monuments. Dawn to dusk. Fourteen hours daily. Seven days weekly. Roman citizens eat at thermopolia serving roasted meats, sausages, fish. The wealthy feast on suckling pig, whole roasted dormice, peacock. The meal called "cena" where they'd lie down because they were too full to sit. Slaves served these meals. Then went home to eat grain paste. Slave skeletons from Pompeii: Severe malnutrition, bone deformities, teeth ground down from grain, arthritis by 30. Citizen skeletons: Taller, stronger bones, better teeth, evidence of varied diet. Roman medical texts note slaves are "naturally weaker" and "prone to illness." Presented as biology, not diet. The famous physician, Galen, recommended meat for strength. To wealthy patients. Not slaves, because slaves didn't pay and were replaceable. When Rome fell and freed slaves could hunt, their descendants grew taller within three generations. Modern version: "Plant-based diets are healthier and sustainable." Eat grains and beans. Less meat. The people saying this eat ribeye privately and plant-based publicly. Two thousand years. Same advice. Different branding.

VINCE LANCI: And those in power wish to remain power. If they cannot do so by consent. They will do so by exclusion to protect their status.

From Vince Lanci, or VBL's Ghost,

Now it all makes sense.

The economic reset transition has been codified.

The last 2 western economies engines were: From welfare-based consent of the masses (post WW2) to credit-based consent of the masses (post Britton woods).

And now: to asset-based exclusion of the masses (post 2020 inflation).

Assets wil determine status. Income will shrink further with the credit that was used to substitute as not enough anymore. Gold, silver, housing, and real assets rising is not an accident. They are the pressure points of a system running out of inclusive growth mechanisms.

And those in power wish to remain power. If they cannot do so by consent. They will do so by exclusion to protect their status. Therefore, the global economic model is becoming less democratic and built on consenting inclusion (promises of participation) and more authoritarian and built on exclusion (underbelly at the margin for plebs).

CHARLIE KIRK: "The women of the West, they get cats, the women of Muslims, they have eight kids. . . . The women of the West have abortions, the women of Muslims, have entire communities they can fill."

SAMA HOOLE: This is recognition that dogs tolerate higher protein ratios than humans. Dogs can eat lean venison. Humans eating only lean venison develop protein poisoning.

Across cultures and time periods, the pattern repeats: fatty portions for humans, lean scraps for dogs.

This isn't cruelty. This is recognition that dogs tolerate higher protein ratios than humans. Dogs can eat lean venison. Humans eating only lean venison develop protein poisoning. The decision about what to give the dogs reveals what cultures considered valuable. If they're feeding lean muscle meat to dogs, that tells you lean muscle meat is the least valuable part. Frontier journals record this constantly. "Shot a spring deer. Took the tongue and liver. The dogs got the rest." The tongue and liver had enough fat to justify taking them. The lean muscle wasn't worth the effort to process. Modern people reading these accounts are appalled. How wasteful! How cruel! Actually, how logical. The dogs could digest what the humans couldn't efficiently process. Inuit feeding lean seal meat to sled dogs while eating the blubber themselves weren't being selfish. They were allocating resources according to metabolic requirements. The dogs needed some fat but tolerated lean meat. The humans needed abundant fat or they'd sicken. This calculus reversed only with modern abundance and the belief that lean protein is premium nutrition. Now humans pay top dollar for what our ancestors fed to dogs. The dogs get commercial kibble made from grain. Everyone's eating wrong.
