Yes, but why would you call it a bailout?  In most bailouts, you don't make money.  The US government made money.  We used our financial balance sheet to stabilize the government. One of our great allies in Latin America during an election, the president there won in a landslide.  The government is going to make money and I would rather use peace through economic strength then have to be shooting at Norco boats coming off shore if the government collapses.  We have a generational opportunity in Latin America to create allies. We just saw an election in Bolivia.  We're probably going to see an election in Colombia.  We've seen them in Ecuador we're going to see them in Chile.  So by stabilizing the economy there and making a profit and that's a very good deal and there's a lot that we could have been doing for the American Farmer, but Democrats closed the government.

I am most proud of in the last year of Trump's term, only 11,000 refugees were allowed in.  We have changed immigration rules for the first time in 40 years. Last year, 2024, more than 100,000 people were allowed in.  And that was tangible success. Furthermore, the previous government (Biden) was the most supportive government in history to Somalia and the government of Somalia.  It played a major role in strengthening government institutions in Somalia.   For example, the lifting of sanctions in Somalia previous government, Biden, took the lead. America also played major role in Somalia's debt forgiveness.  It canceled $1.14 billion dollars.  As the government of Somalia has confirmed so many times.
